I should jump in here and give the needle to John Wray for choosing an Austrian song for Max Rofls, instead of some Rammstein, Kraftwerk, KMFDM or Einsterzende Neubauten.

Pokercast has been a part of my weekly schedule since somewhere around episode 30 and I haven't missed an episode since... (Litteraly, the only time I skipped/ fastforwarded through a segment was the gov. Gary Johnson-interview, because im non-US and it didn't relate to my (personal) poker experience).

Thank you for the hard work, resulting in approx. 500 hours (that's more than 3 weeks total lol) of entertainment/listening pleasure.

Der Kommissar was just too perfect.

I'd also like to point out that the very best quote from the retrospective flew past without comment. When discussing the Bacon Bra, MJ says (paraphrasing):

"Bacon wasn't just a flash in the pan."

Which seems like a perfect ad campaign...

Talking about Shreveport right after the Lions reminded me of US expansion. Many of the Bombers back then were from Louisiana and had warnings for the other players, I remember a story that went something like, "Shreveport is a rough, scary place. My friend got car-jacked there, they told him, waiving a gun in his face, 'Get out of the car...and leave the girl.' It's a really rough place!"

Congrats guys. Great show, great choice of clips. Jeez I used to like the Sklansky Minutes - I like the way that old geezer's mind works. I think he's earned the right to those protracted pauses. Still hoping one day you'll play The Fall - they have new stuff every other week.
