not sure if there is another thread about the topic (if so would love a link) but thought the discussion about the Brandon Adams v PA tennis match was interesting. I played tennis growing up and played the satellite/challenger tour around the same time Patrik would have been playing. I have no clue how good Adams is but Antonius has literally zero results on any decent level. He has never picked up a single ATP point in his career and there is no record of him playing any junior ITF events.

I think its likely he was at the very best, a decent level junior. He was certainly never a professional and if Adams trained and competed in Florida while growing up it's likely his side of the bet at 11-1 (was that right) is ridiculously good.

enjoyed listening to Trickett a great deal, hope he is on again in the future. WTF is going on with Sklansky? Does he thinks random, goofy thoughts that any person has every day is actually worth putting up as the Sklansky minute?

Poker Beat is very good IMO, tends to be a bit too US focused for me though, and ignores/plays down the achievements of anyone in tournaments outside the US. Unless that player happens to be American.

Prefer the Pokercast but both essential listening still.

I drive a lot for work and listen to a number of poker podcasts weekly and the 2+2 pokercast is very easily the best one out there. It makes all my driving tolerable! Next time we just need to make sure it is voted the number one poker podcast.

I listened to the Poker Beat show covering the Prahlad Friedman's UB signing, and apparently you guys have got the whole UB story wrong. You see Prahlad signed with the *NEW* UB, not the *old* UB who did the cheating. And the *NEW* UB paid Prahlad back *ALL* of the money the the *old* UB stole even though they didn't have to because they - the *NEW* UB - weren't the ones that stole the money - that was the *old* UB. So its all OK.

Adam - one thing that you shouldnt overlook with the success of the Aussie Millions field size - is the state of the australian economy. Unlike U.S. and Europe - there has been no economic downturn in Australia for closing on 20 years.

So perhaps that is important to understand - that it might just be the economy with respect to live tournament circuit and the overall health of the poker economy.

great show guys. 1st ever minor complaint about the show (having listened to hundreds):
i was genuinely dissapointed at the sunday million hand discussion. the notion of a flatting range there + this bizarre desire to mincash was honestly quite irritating. for someone who has spoken to so many great poker minds, it was awkward to listen to something that would be resoundly ridiculed in thread form. other than that, great show + keep up the good work guys

it wasn't a desire to min-cash, 3-bet shipping with QQ in that spot is not the only play in that spot by any means. And even if it is. just because I talk to great poker minds, doesn't in any way make an amateur like me play like one.

Plus all that great poker knowledge gets wiped out by 3hrs with Bunner and Adam every week.
