Live from Two Plus Two Studios, November 29th 2010 - This week on the Two Plus Two PokerCast professional college basketball handicapper and 7 card stud expert Alan Boston makes his return appearance on the program to provide his insight on the new college season, share some great stories about his late friend Stu Ungar and take us through a typical day in the life of Alan Boston. Mike and Adam also connect with poker pro, pool shark and twitter dynamo Jean-Robert Bellande to chat about some of the high stakes cash game action thats going on in Ivey's Room at Aria. Leggo Poker coach Aaron 'aejones' provides some more great poker strategy about 'Creativity' in this weeks Leggo Poker/Deuces Cracked strategy segment. The guys also discuss forum static including the price former WSOP champ Peter Eastgate got for his 2008 Main Event bracelet, provide tournament coverage and of course give away the passwords for the December 5th Poker Stars VIP Club Invitational for PokerCast listeners.

Haven't listened yet, but forgot to post this in the thread the last time AB was on. The book "The Odds" by Millman is available in Amazon's kindle store. It was the easiest place I could track it down without actually ordering it online and having it shipped.

Looking forward to some Alan Boston!

Re: PokerCast Episode 150 - Alan Boston & Jean-Robert Bellande

Boston was pretty funny, although I struggled to stay interested during the Stud segments. Most likely because I don't like Stud. Bellande was also good.

Since Mike is likely to miss next week's show - Bunnercast one time.

By far the most interesting thing that was said was by Pokerstars Steve who said he expected that regulation would not lead to a separation of the US market from the rest of the world. Whilst lots of people in the US have been pushing for regulation, I've been solidly opposed to it since it could cut off most of the player pool to the rest of the world (which I think would be pretty disastrous for most other countries - Italy and France may have sites with traffic in the top 10, but given that iPoker was number 3 and I find the liquidity on there too low that's not great). A country like the UK would really struggle to sustain a decent online poker economy IMO.

If Steve is right that is huge for us Euros (and you Canadians I guess too).

Oh, and on the EPT Barcelona security issues - I'm with Mike, it's absolutely nothing to do with the EPT/Pokerstars. They should be responsible for providing security in and around the casino but that's all. If you're in random bars you should be careful to avoid machetay wielding maniacs yourself.

Leslie Nielsen was in both scary movie 3 and 4

Great show, especially Alan Boston 'interview' was great

Tell me there wasn't really a Scary Movie 3 or 4.

Spanish -> ma-CHE-te (MJ's "ay"s but with emphasis on the CHE)
English -> Machettee (something like that)
MJ-esque -> priceless!

Love the "Viffer is like the guy that treats everybody bad, so when he treats you ok, you're like 'this guy is really great!'"
Alan Boston interview - just wow!

Agreed.
Barcelona is a dirty, dangerous city. Did you notice the women don't carry purses? That's a hint.
If you take a walk outside the hotel, wear tough boots. The needles that the addicts drop, and the dog poo no one picks up, to say nothing of the 'zombies' watching your every move, makes the 12 x 15 of your hotel room look safe and warm.

DO NOT CARRY CASH in Barcelona, unless you also have a body guard.
