Vicky Coren
Neil Channing
Roland de Wolfe
Joe Beevers
Barney Boatman
James Akenhead

Vicky and Neil are fantastic interviewees. Neil's always promoting Black Belt Poker so he'll be on, and Vicky has the sexiest voice in poker period.

If you get a chance to have Channing on the show can you ask him about a recent pokernews interview he did on staking. i cant decide if he is serious or its his version of dry humour but they talked about him staking akenhead right up to both the wsop and wsope last summer but then when Channing asked to buy a piece for the aussie million akenhead wouldnt sell any to him apparently. i couldnt tell if he was serious or joking about being the backer then being pissed when he couldn't buy a piece after akenhead got some $ from the wsop/wsope.
cant seem to find the video at the moment

Him.

Stuff we've heard from others in the industry makes us less than enthusiastic about bringing him on to pimp his brand.

Vicky Coren confirmed. Working on 2 or 3 others.

Note sure how well they interview by others might be:

- Richard Ashby and Ben Grundy who fly well under the radar
- Mad Marty Wilson and Willie Tan

+1 to Ben Grundy. I read an article of his in a magazine which I remember being really quite interesting. Never heard him interviewed though.

Mad Marty is always value.

Nick Wreathall might offer you a different angle as he is a player who spends time commentating (at least he does on the Poker Stars EPT online broadcast here in the UK)

LOL. We'll be certain to let her know. She'll be ecstatic.

Please don't get Channing hes all over UK poker doing everything already. He just moans and talks about BBP no one cares anymore.

Barney is a super nice guy tho!

Barney boatman is super interesting and his brother has an interesting background ( remember London burning the TV show he was in ).

Willie Tan is a really nice guy although i remember playing in Barcelona with him and he kept falling asleep and needing nudging when it was his turn to act. He is like a loveable Grandad.

I doubt half of the listeners would understand Mad Marty, but Nick Weathall is always good to listen to. He has his own podcast with Kara Scott so I don't know if there's a conflict, but he has a big Pokerstars connection with the UKIPT, EPT commentary and the Sunday Millions/WCOOP commentary he does along side David Tuckman on Pokerstars TV.

Nick is very funny. He and Kara were great together but Alas Kara no longer joins him "On The Rail".

I have to agree with a previous poster that Neil is a bit over-exposed at the moment.

Good suggestion on Boatman.

Re Channing: He is one of our most popular and in-demand guests. I think you will find that most of our audience would disagree that 'no one cares anymore'. We haven't had him on for over a year and you also need to remember that 90% of our audience doesn't see/hear any of the local UK media stuff he does.

Any chance of Ram Vaswani. I always thought of him as the most baller of all the mob. Vicky Coren talks in her book about him buying a 1000 lottery tickets one time.

it might be too late but what about paul jackson....he was second to ivey at monte carlo a few years ago (remember the hand on youtube?). i heard him do a poker talk a while back, very interesting and can talk for ages. i think he might be something to do with dusk til dawn poker club

or what about the guy who set up the dusk til dawn poker club in nottingham and the experiences setting it up/running it....rob yong

Yeah I remember that hand. Both bluffing with 4 or 5 high weren't they?

Paul Jackson is a great bloke. I remember him being an unsponsored regular online player with Ladbrokes in the early days (although he was regarded as a bit of a star within the Ladbrokes playing community), and he was always happy to answer questions in the chat box. I've seen him since and he's always seemed to be very generous with his time.

Simon is the card room manager of DTD, and I think won the 1st Late Night Poker (or one of the 1st).

CHUFTY won a bracelet this year as well as the PLO WCOOP, I've never heard him interviewed.
