The discussion at the start of the show reminded me this clip:

"The C-Word" from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Carlos Mortenson's real name is Juan Carlos Mortenson. Pretty obvious why he uses Carlos since he busts out every time he uses his real first name.

Brilliant show guys!

About the v$pip/vee-pip, issue; i'm from the uk and everyone I know who plays online uses the phrase "vee-pip" rather than "vee-pee-aye-pee". Makes sense as its way quicker to say. And given that the British invented pretty much everything, the internet included, I think "vee-pip" should be the industry standard

I'm with the Vee-PIP camp. Don't know where I picked it up, perhaps from training videos (either Stox or DC)? I like it because it's two syllables rather than four.

Cool show as always.

Re : C word in UK. It is probably used a lot more over here but still seen as extremely offensive when used towards a woman.

New thread will be started for this contest shortly. I think they just need to be 2+2 friendly, that's all.

Seconded ... growing up in Belfast, "c***y bollox" was often a term of affection. 3 decades later, I have yet to find one person outside of Belfast that believes me.

Also, I thought pips were round ... (but then again, Dubs have 2 arms and 2 legs).

I'd just like to state for the record that I find it pretty hillarious that Mike "King of Pronounciations" Johnson is getting tilted by the way something is pronounced on TV.
