Where can you find a picture of the hosts and the infamous Mr. Bunner?

I have really started to look forward to the podcasts.

I'm a little embarassed to admit to being a dentist who hooks himself up to the Nitrous Oxide after the office is closed, plugging in my earbuds and enjoying the ride.

The longer podcasts are my favorite!

Talk of the French protest at the 2:00:00 mark.

At some of the WSOP-C locations, 1% of the prize pool from the $300 and higher events will be used towards the National Championship.

The reason for 4 missing players is that there's two more WSOP-C events scheduled around directly before and after Tunica.

Congrats Mike/Mel. Hopefully old man Johnson won't blow a gasket when Lightning Cupcake-Balls Jr. or JD Jr. show up to take her to the Ultimate Bet Spring Fling Dance.

I think the biggest tragedy of this year's WSOP is that bunner didn't make the FT, and hence we won't get the see some classic ESPN myth making leading up to the final table. Was really hoping for some cameras to be following around bunner so we can figure out what he does most of the day. I was pretty sure there was going to be an interview with bunner feeding the fish, and bumming a smoke off the camera guy.

Re: PokerCast Episode 132 - WSOP Coverage with Matt Savage, Nick Rainey & Tony 'Bond18' Dunst

It was interesting hearing your guys' take on the general topic of the extreme elderly slowing down play regarding Jack Ury. In B+M I started a thread about a similar incident I had in a Tahoe cash game where there was just one table open. I didn't mind how slow the game was so much since that was by far better than actually attending the political conference I was there for. My problem was that it tends to bring out the worst in other people, especially other old but still spry people that I think were just afraid of being that guy in the near future.

I just think that if it's not going to be an old guy taking 30 seconds on every action, it'll be a young guy taking three minutes pre-flop every time he's facing an opened pot with a marginal hanh. Thems the breaks, and we have to remember that even for a $10K event, the long-run is your lifetime, and if it so happens that this main event is your once-in-a-lifetime shot, and you draw Jack Ury on Day 1 on a table that won't be breaking, that's just variance.

Oh, and congrats on being a dad MJ! Parenting start! gogogogogogo TID.

That article is hilarious and a total over-reaction. The girls weren't wearing bikinis or lingerie like Amy embellished in the article. The were wearing cocktail dresses. Poker marketing is no more sexist than Football or any other activity that is geared toward a 90% male audience. It's all part of the overall event presentation. Just as cheerleaders aren't aimed at the 10% of women that watch football, the Royal Flush girls aren't for the 10% of women that watch poker. Remember at it's core the WPT is 2 distinctly seperate entities, half poker tournament, half TV show. The royal flush girls are for the TV entertainment part, not the poker tournament part and the two shouldn't be confused with each other. Poker players want to play in tournaments that are on TV and that people are going to watch. If the royal flush girls get more people watching the WPT, then that is good for all tournament poker players.

I do agree with her that I can't figure out why there are 6 girls yet only 5 cards in a Royal Flush.
