pretty sure sklansky nailed it on the head, the prob with bumhunters that they have the same chance of getting a fish to play them as a player who they refuse to play. pretty impressed he came to the right conclusion without ever putting much thought into it.

however u moved quickly on saying 'we're getting sidetracked now...' when actually u were coming to the point! sigh pretty sick ball drop guys

I now understand why MJ came up on my PTR buddylist as sitting at 3/6 HU NL when I was pretty sure he doesn't play HU.

Leatherass did not say A.E Jones invented the term bumhunting. Leatherass said he was maybe the first to apply it to 6/9-max. Also, am I the only one who thinks he is an ass?

lol @ the guesses on the number of runners in the upcoming invitational.

now ... I could just take the over on the 785 but that'd be boring.

my guess will be over 1800 players.

FYI: Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods are 9 miles apart and definitely directly compete for business in New England.

I just wanna say this is the best podcast in the "podcast market". No other poker podcast can compare in quality to this one.

Erik Friberg never had dreadlocks on tv. When they intervjued him he sounded like a russian dude with his accent. Responded to the question "what will you do with the money"? (after his finish at the man event final table) - I will gamble with them...

Btw, Sweden will kick Canada´s ass in hockey

RE: Sklansky's response to O'Reilly's remarks about Sweden (?) and socialism.

That is only true if you think O'Reilly is attempting to give an honest rational opinion. It is more likely that O'Reilly is aware of the logical flaw in his argument but is (like a politician) more interested in the persuasive effects of his remarks than in their correctness. O'Reilly's show is not about dispensing accurate information and novel (but correct) insights. Viewed in that light I'd say O'Reilly scores high at achieving what he sets out to do.

EDIT: I find the whole AE Jones vs Dusty feud sad and embarrassing.

TANGENT: I've been playing Rush poker exclusively for the last month. One interesting aspect of Rush is the opportunity to violate some common poker reg etiquettes. Pretty much all the possible rules about choosing seats, sitting out or joining tables to hunt fish are sidestepped. I like playing poker and I hate the necessary work of table selection so I am finding Rush quite enjoyable now that my HUD works (if ever it made sense for a game to have a HUD it is Rush). It is also very cool that none of my Rush results show up on PTR

QUESTION: What etiquette violations that people get upset about can still occur in Rush? Hit & run? Every hand is a hit and run so that one is gone...

#1 NBA/NCAA - regulation basketball court dimension is 94' long by 50' wide.

#2 High School basketball court dimension measure 84' long by 50' wide.

#3 Jr. High School basketball court dimension measure 74' long and 42' wide.
I got this from a site that came up when googling it.

Playing at random 24 hour fitness courts which are probably 74' or 84' or less provides for the same feeling that the NBA court is huge.
