Had a minor glitch this morning as well. If anyone else experiences this, just wait a few minutes and try again.

can't do that, because then the password would be "Aussie password stealers are scum" - that would be mean.

Adam: I disagree that the higher limits get shorthanded, because people wanna get more hands in. It's mostly a combination of ego and better understanding of the game.

It is clear that the more SH the game is the more skill will shine through all the way down to HU tables. So therefore people at high limits mostly want to play as SH as possible to get full advantage of the odd "fish" (none are really super fish, just a lower level of skill) wandering into the game. At high limits the grinding aspect is less important as finding the edge.

Great show guys as always. Looking forward to the bonus pokercast coming. After your done in Melbourne come up to Queensland and catch some sunshine and great weather.
I was sad that i missed your get together, I couldn't make it to Melbourne in the short period i had to work with. Stupid airline wanted excessive price for my wheelchair as baggage, i won't name them(it starts with a Q).

How can you go to Australia and then not include these guys in the music interludes:

or this dood:

Maybe it was too obvious....

Great podcast, you have succeeded in making your listeners insanely jealous of your escapades. I was at the gym when I was listening to Adam & Bunner's diving adventure, I actually startled the girl next to me when I suddenly and uncontrollably laughed out loud...very nice!

Man am I jealous of you globe hopping bastids...

I haven't gotten to the end of the podcast as yet and just wanted to chime in on Rush poker and pokertracker. Tracker (v3 build 5.2) will import the hands, but the HUD doesn't work with Rush poker since the HUD doesn't display until a hand history is saved and by the time that happens your already at another table with new players. Also, because your seat keeps changing even tho tracker imports the hands it will end up with 9 different sessions, one for each position.

I thought Rush poker was fun, not sure I'd make a regular habit of it though. Of course at my piddly stakes, who cares anyway?

Enjoy the trip and post some pics from the dive... specially the blonde.

I was half asleep when I listened but I could have sworn I heard Mel Judah talking about some hackneyed idea for poker tournaments where you can cash out before they're over? Maybe it was just a dream. I remember thinking it was one of the dumbest things I had ever heard of and feeling for sorry for him.

Yes it seemed he thought this was a great original idea and he could make a lot of money selling this format. About ten years ago Spirit Mountain Casino in Oregon used to offer a similiar deal called a real money tourney where at a certain point the player in last place after every hand had the option of cashing in his chips for real money equity. It was an interesting twist on the game but it never caught on .

drinking Victoria Bitter is so lol. You boys need to get some Coopers in ya, it might well cost a little more but you'll love it. seriously.

other than that, nice episode although i was a bit disappointed Mel didnt seem to know or care much about the proposed internet filter. I wish you'd asked Josem about it..also Josem's story abut some kid wanting him to help him see other peoples hole cards was pretty funny.

Mike and Adam, maybe you can get Josem back on for the mini-episode to talk about the internet filter that our govt is proposing?

as per this thread he's up to speed and the more visibility we get to the issue the better...not just for australia but for every other country that could try and follow suit of this actually happens.

Is it me, or is the volume of the mp3 a lot lower than usual? Even with my player at max volume it's still not that loud.
