fwiw insults including someones mother will get u in serious trouble in many european countries and im not talking about penalties given out by poker room staff. nfi why americans often seem to think its acceptable to call others motherf*****s and such

Insults about someone's mother aren't taken kindly here, either, but a) usually such comments are done in jest rather than anger, and b) motherF-er isn't really an insult about the recipient's mother.

In fact, MFer so ubiquitous as a word that it's pretty much a meaningless slur that is rarely if ever taken literally. Sort of like "son of a *****." Technically, it's an insult that references a parent, but I can't imagine many people hear it that way.

Except Terrence. He will rip your face off.

ok, because the N word topic was discussed to death I'm going to dive into the Hellmuth ordeal.

Its amazing how out of line he was without even understanding the real problem was not what he said, but how he said it with pending action. I personally think he really had no clue he was breaking fundamental rules.

One more reason luck and timing is everything. he is a sub par player with a bankroll to play with the big boys. man it would have been sweet if Jonny Chan did with that 3rd title. everyone forgets second place lol

final thought. do we just accept favoritism for certain players? or is there a play to hold people like Hellmuth accountable for there actions?

We shouldn't, especially in 2018 where the idea of the poker pro bringing new players into the game through their sheer fame and charisma is pretty much dead.

Hellmuth wins the Main vs. Chan wins his third straight. Wow, there's a pick-your-poison moment in WSOP history.
