Our feature guest is Elton Tsang. Elton may not be a household name to most, but he has rubbed shoulders with all of them playing the highest stakes in Macau and winning the €1M One Drop in Monte Carlo. Elton has been in the news recently because after a high stakes cash game session in Barcelona, Leon Tsoukernik owner of the Kings Casino has allegedly stiffed him $4.6 Million after losing in the game. Elton joins us in studio to talk about his story.
We are also joined by Run It Once Elite coach Tom Chambers. Tom is an expert in games that require more than 2 cards and joins us to talk PLO and PLO8 strategy and the rise of piosolver in omaha. We also had a late guest addition to the show in Dustin Morrill, PHD student at the University of Alberta and creator of the Deepstack heads up no limit hold'em bot. Adam and Terrence played simulated matches against the bot and Dustin joins us to talk about the data from their battles with the AI.

Still having Itunes download problems over here.



Running Windows 10 on a 3 year old Compaq with Itunes version 12.6.2.20.

Help!

Love the show BTW.

I have been having the same problem for a few weeks now. Might be some specific problem with the iTunes Windows application, because downloading the Pokercast in the iPhone podcasts app works for me.

Also most other podcasts still work in the Windows version, the only other of my subscriptions that has the same problem is Science Friday.

I'm looking at it on Windows Vista and ITunes 12.1.3.6.

I don't use this ITunes for much.

I suscribed to the Pokercast, which still has the Pokerstars graphic in the ITunes store, and even though it shows the episodes in the store, it shows no episodes under the feed in the lists of subscribed podcasts, and there is an error icon to the left with the message about downloading as in the earlier post.

When I was having trouble downloading episodes to an iPod running iOS 9, I was still able to download the episodes from the ITunes Store. Go into the store, search for Two Plus Two Pokercast, click on the Podcast and click on "get" next to the episode. Let me see...That doesn't work here, it just puts it in the list of episodes in the feed and has that error.

It doesn't seem to download any episode.

Oh good, two episodes I can't listen to now. WTF, guys? Fix the iTunes problem! Something happened. 469 episodes downloaded with no problem and now the last two can't be done. I've got iTunes version 12.6.2. Maybe that has something to do with it? (Although, it looks like this version was released on July 19.) I'm sure you don't want people to get used to not listening. At some point, though, we'll give up on trying to download the show. Thanks!

It's not like troubleshooting errors with RSS feeds is simple. None of these three guys are coders.

I agree! Although I've had the same problem with the podcast in iTunes for Windows (12.6.2.20), I've managed to find at least 4 other ways to listen to the podcast...

That podcast 469 had a size of 0 listed, nothing worked after that. I don't see syntax errors, they're hard to spot.

I wonder if the fact that the links get redirected is a problem, but I doubt that changed. That error number is associated with missing URLs and hosts or network errors.

I don't have an older copy of the RSS feed to compare it with.

There's a line in there that says Games and Hobbies. Most of the other lines that end with a quote before a greater-than symbol have a backslash. Is that a new line?

Same with the rss line that ends with Atom, but that probably hasn't changed? Some other podcasts have a space there.

Are the links for the guest numbers new?

Can someone confirm the trouble started after 469 or at 469?

I would guess that after 469. I don't have any issue since I pay $14.99 a month to PokercastRoss and he mails me a CD but Pokerfuse has stopped pimping the podcast for a while and the last one they have up there is 469

I made some changes this morning (around 9am ET) intended to fix what *might* be the problem that some of you are having. Can one or two of you please confirm that you are still having it. Especially via iTunes?

I'm not able to download anything in ITunes. The feed is not populating unless I add it from the ITunes Store.

I looked at the Google Cache version of the feed from 469 and the headers, everything before Item are the same.

I tried a few validators and one said it was fine but missing the explicit tag, one couldn't read it, the other said the image size should be something else and that ITunes wants the server to support http head requests.

Is there a difference between the way the server handles http and https for those pages?

The "I will do it tonight" sounded really promising too.

Feed validates http: and https: (except for the Explicit warning). There was a problem with a couple of the pokercast lengths but I have fixed that. Itunes works perfectly for me. (But it did before ... even on 469.) Not sure where to go from here....

Yep, for those who have had recent problems, check it now. I can always tell when there was a fix because I suddenly see the last 50 episodes as unplayed on my feed.
