Yeah, would have been nice for Milos to get a match in with Joker before the Davis Cup tie but if can beat Nadal(not likely but possible) who beat Joker then still has to feel incredible.

Well, didn't go as planned for Milos...

I spent last week in Vancouver downtown, wow what a fantastic city. Clean, safe, great public transportation, my wife wants to move there.

She's Canadian, and forced us to eat Harvey's hamburgers, pulled pork poutine, Tim Horton donuts, aerobars and Coffee crisp every day. Oh and a daily japadog. Couldn't find a swiss chalet though.

Got to play at River Rock as well.

I think we're going to make this an annual vacation.

How was the field trip to the Pokercast studio to drink Pilsner and watch the show being recorded? Oh yeah, you never checked in with us...

Aiyah, for some reason it completely slipped my mind that you guys were based in Vancouver until I came back. Especially egregious since I've listened to every single episode for the last 8 or whatever years. We'll be back next summer, so I'll be sure to hit you up then.

What's with that video arcade game/porno video shop in downtown? I saw a bunch of arcade games and was going to take my kids there, but there's a sign that says 18 and over only, and I was like wtf? Doesn't seem like it would be a crossover market there...

On granville street. Peepshow in the back I think. The front part is just a normal arcade I think. Haven't actually gone inside there but certainly know the place you speak of.

So, you're saying this isn't where the pokercast is held/recorded?

Captain R is a genius.

Get the remote gear!

Sounds like you have the next intro to the pokercast:

"And here they are, from the Granville arcade... playing video games up front and watching pornos in the rear, Mike and Aaaadam!"

So now that he's been released from the Patriots, where does the Tebow bet stand?

Bloomberg has it's own "channel". It looks like that was an update on Dec 11. That's a premium channel on my cable.

There's only the one episode I could find, and they had strange strategy advice. I miss Dave Foley and drunk celebrity poker.

Wait, what were we talking about again?

Was just thinking about the old 'road to supernova' segment and how that used to be my goal/an inspiring thought back when I started posting here/on 2p2 (the poker cast is what kept me lurking around here so long obv). Anyhow, with only the slightest amount of brag, I'm on track and finally going to complete what once seemed a rather lofty goal at the time and man does it feel like a long time now!

EDIT: By on track I mean well and past 100k/12, that allocation never works so I'm trying for start of august if I can manage

Congratulations to Vancouver native Vasek Pospisil, along with partner in crime Jack Sock, for their men's doubles championship at Wimbledon!

Edit: against the best team in history nonetheless!
