it's true. canadians are not allowed to go up or down stairs without first passing a safety exam. this is required by law for the protection of all citizens. the exam is similar to a driving test. the taker must go up and down stairs whilt weaving around cones, and giving the right of way to other people using the stairs. the exam can be difficult for some, so it requires intesive training sometimes. if you do not have your liscence then you must use the disability elevator.

We also have to purchase the cones to do the test, which at $1 US, can get pretty steep.

Dude, we're covered in snow half the year. Our lawnbowling and netball teams are made up of drunk Aussie expats.

You wouldn't want me to go and post winter olympic medal counts, right?
