Brag: I got my first "prove you're not a bot" captcha from stars today. Been grinding a ton of low buyin SNGs to clear some bonuses off my account.

I don't get the "you have 0 seconds..." Reminds me of ED-209 from robocop. I was still really excited to get it though.

ftr, Canadians get 100 seconds to complete.

That software double-screened you. It couldn't make up it's mind if it thought you were a robot (bad, but not necessarily threat-to-EU-security bad) or a Canadian (bad, but only a threat to his/her own personal safety bad).

Alas, as a general rule, your Johnny D-ness probably produced a wall-strenghted wave of sexiness into their system the likes of which they've never seen. Or at best only read about on forums.

Well done.

It's part of a 1-2 teddy of spamming. First one new account posts a question (with some ******ed link), and then another new account posts an answer, with more links.

It's scary how much **** I've googled and twoplustwo comes up in the top few hits. A lot of us are officially (in)famous for stupid **** we said or did.

GG employment.

The spammers are just trying to get their crap to show up in searches and this seems to work OK.

Ah thats makes sense I guess, I mean this also has to be one of the higher traffic sits out there (I'd guess), so its not unreasonable that we pop up to alot of google searches (assuming that is part of their algorithim).

That's kinda like saying, I have a friend in Canberra I think I'll go there.

Stick to the Maratimes, Montreal, Calgary/Banff or the west coast.

Keanu, really? Granted he can't act. But I'm always happy to see him in a movie. It's like seeing an old friend. "Look Keanu is in the movie too."

Nah. That's an old urban legend. I heard the same story 20 years ago.

My baby was born 3 months ago. In the beginning stages of the birth I stepped outside the hospital to get some fresh air. There was a pregnant woman standing outside smoking. The next day I saw her with her husband and her newborn baby (!) again smoking. That baby was 1 day old!!! It still tilts me just thinking about that.

Spoiler:

Canadian Pop Culture Trivia

Alexisonfire member Dallas Green has another very popular side project in Canada called City and Colour(get it Dallas Green...City and Colour...3rd level thinking in this country IMO). This acoustic folk singer act is polar opposite to the post-hardcore sounds of alexisonfire.

Dallas Green is also married to Leah Miller, the host of the Canadian version of the popular dance competition show 'So You Think You Can Dance. Leah Miller used to hot but then bizarrely chose to have plastic surgery at age 27.

Dallas Green performs as City And Colour

That is your Canadian pop culture lesson for the day. There will no be quiz.
