has anybody else had trouble downloading the pokercast starting with episode 469...I get an information bubble error that says "There was a problem downloading "the Two Plus Two Pokercast" -An unknown error occured (0x80090318). Please check that the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again"

I tried deleting and unsubscribing and trying again, but I get same problem..all but one of my other podcasts is able to still download except one other one.

Can you try again? We fixed something (don't ask me what) and everyone else seems to be able to download now.
09-03-2017 , 02:50 AM
Not everyone else.

I think there's a problem at the server.

What ITunes and operating system are you using?

still no luck...i just downloaded latest version of itunes and i have windows 8.1
09-03-2017 , 02:59 AM
it's been this way for days

Out of curiosity, can you use Microsoft Edge to get to the twoplustwo.com homepage?
09-03-2017 , 05:17 PM
Still not downloading from ITUNES into my ITUNES library. I can get to the two plus two homepage, etc.; I'm using Windows 10 Home, version 1703, have the most current version of Itunes 12.6.2.20, and I'm receivng the error message "An unknown error occurred (0x80090318) Please check that the URL is correct and the connection to the network is active and try again. I've unsubscribed to the Podcast and resubscribed. Other podcasts download for me with no issues.

Same problem here. Also windows 10, updated Itunes. Last episode I got was 469. No matter what I try it wont download the latest two episodes. No issues with any of my other podcasts

It also doesn't work in Stitcher. The latest episode which shows up on the Stitcher website is 469: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/two-plus-two-pokercast

I can download the episodes on my iphone but I can't get them on itunes (Windows 10, latest version of itunes). I recently switched to a new computer and thought that was the problem. Every other podcast works (18 others). I tried unsub and resub and it didn't fix the problem.

470 is visable on itunes but doesn't download either automagically or manually. 470 isn't there at all. Nothing on Stitcher (as previously reported)

Lots of old shows showed up in my iTunes feed today but they all had the same error. Tried to unsubscribe and resubscribe again but no luck. Still can't download 470 or 471. Tried to download an old show to see if that worked. It does not.

Tried again today. Still no success. There will come a time where I'll get used to not listening to the show. Too bad too. I've been a listener for a long, long time.

Noooooo Smitty!

We're working on solving this problem once and for all. Switching servers. Don't quit on us, my good man.

I came here hoping to find that the reason for no recent shows was that Tchan was no longer a host and there was a search on for a new one.

Now I find you guys just can't fix this relatively recent common issue that's going around for shows that couldn't be bothered to pay attention to notifications.

Those of you who can't play the show through iTunes...I assume you are all on Windows? Can you play the PokerCast by going to https://pokercast.twoplustwo.com directly? There appears to be a bug in iTunes for Windows that we have (somehow) triggered.

Yes, and I am able to download the episodes and add them manually to Itunes, but thats a huge pain. I imagine others don't even realize that they are missing episodes. I just assumed that the boys took a summer break, come to realize that I had missed two episodes.

Can you see the list of episodes? It seems from the above that you can't even see that. Even in Windows iTunes I can see the list of episodes...I just can't play or download them from within iTunes.

Yes, I can see all the episodes on the Itunes store, but nothing happens when I click "Get". And it didnt automatically download the last two episodes like it normally does. The last episode I got that way was 169

I don't think you will get that list under subscriptions if you subscribe to it.

I think the problem is ITunes for Windows, and some old versions of Internet Explorer, can't get to the homepage of www.twoplustwo.com or to the RSS feed address, even if they can get to the forums. They are being directed to use https for the homepage and http for the forums.

I have not been able to download the current episode as well, but this was Itunes on thes iOS 9.3.5 (Iphone 4s). Streaming the episode was possible though.

Ok, Adam. I won't quit you guys just yet. Honestly, I enjoy the show too much to stop trying to download it.

Tried again this morning, still no luck.

You keep trying to fix it and I'll keep trying to download it.

Thanks!

If you know of a fix for this "relatively recent common issue" we would certainly love to hear about it. I can find plenty of reference to the issue. Plenty of references to possible user workarounds that don't work for me. But nothing about actually doing something that is in our control to fix it. I am hoping such a fix exists.
