If Adam doesn't have time to do the show anymore, why couldn't 2+2 just hire a new cohost the same way they did when Mike left?

It doesn't seem like Adam has been that interested in the poker scene in quite a while in any case. Failing the cover the WSOP right now seems like a big missed opportunity.

There are podcasts popping up all over the place and I bet most of them only have a fraction of the listeners of the Pokercast

Amazing they may not get to show 500

Sad to say I have listened to every show and some of the older stuff they did as well, 2 hours of dog walking a day gives you plenty of listening time....

Isn't Adam in Vegas playing the WSOP right now? Tweets from a couple days ago indicate he was. Maybe the case is he's so interested being in the poker scene that he doesn't have time to podcast?

Please just don't decide to end the Pokercast because people aren't happy that it isn't consistent currently.

Hey all,

Ya, the tweet kinda represents where were at. It's not that we aren't interested in the poker community, just that time that was once very easy to find to record is now at a premium.

That's not to say that will always be the case. I anticipate my workload with the hockey association shrinking significantly in the future, so who knows.

Anyway, as T said recording today!

keep up the work. Gotta at least make it to show 500. Can bill perkins give you sponsor the show.. Aka give adam a $25k freeroll if he does one show a week for 8 months. Ross would probably do it for about $350

The best time for the pokercast was during the boom. Plenty of news and guests
and controversy. It started going downhill when Mike Johnson left. He seemed to be the force that kept the show at such a high level. Listen to the shows from ten or twelve years ago. They’re great.
