The end of the Pokercast?? The end of the Pokercast??

My guess it's more about the close affiliation with DN. I must admit this concerns me a bit, including the fact that he is the face of PokerStars.

I know they never had a problem calling PokerStars out when it was the sponsor of the 2P2 show, but it's a bit different when you have the marquee sponsored player as one of the show's host. Not to mention, it's going to be hard to call out Daniel for any BS while he's right there.

That said, you've got to pay the bills somehow and I'm not complaining about the new product. I also think that 2P2 and Mason are showing class in letting this thread continue, when it's really probably time to lock it up and move on...

Hey all,

The bottom line is Terrence and I were floundering. We've been friends for a long time and done many podcasts and sometimes you just lose the passion a bit. It wasn't fair to Mason and the sponsors to just do a show whenever we felt like it, commitments are commitments.

Daniel and I had talked about doing a hockey podcast off and on for a bit and after the relationship ended here we continued talking about doing a poker podcast. An additional host with a new, fresh take on all the subjects we talk about each week was exciting enough for Terrence and I to do it. Knowing how Mason feels about Daniel, it was obviously a non-starter to do it here.

Who knows how long it will last, but we're going to have some fun and see how it goes. I totally understand why Mason is disappointed in the decision and I can't say I wouldn't feel the same way if I were him. As someone said above, very classy move to allow the discussion to continue.

Hay Adam

Noticed Daniel went to a negotiate a deal with Pokergo in one of his vlogs. Any chance this podcast becomes a show on pokergo in the future?

In every recent show thread you will find a direct download link, like this.

http://pokercast.s3.amazonaws.com/twoplustwo_489.mp3

You can change that number on the end to download any episode, like this.

http://pokercast.s3.amazonaws.com/twoplustwo_1.mp3

If you want to hear the previous stuff, there are some you can find if you look at The Internet Wayback Machine.

I'm very happy to have some version of the show. I'm sure it will be very popular with the other guy on it.

I started listening to the pokercast somewhere in 2010 when I started playing poker. Over the years there have been times that I played a lot, and there have been years that I didn't play a single hand.

I never stopped listening to the pokercast. Every time I started playing again was because of this podcast. Without this podcast, I would have given up playing poker a long time ago. And if I stopped playing poker, I would never have experienced the great times I've had in Las Vegas, LA, Macau, Biloxi, Tampa and all over Europe

So I would really like to thank you guys for the weekly entertainment and I sincerely wish you all the best in the future.
