Shuffle up and deal to "the guy in the blue shirt"!

Thanks to the guys putting this on. Special thanks to sticking to your guns and not changing any of the original rules.

Completely this imo, same last year. Agree that they should be changed if possible.

I'll finish with entries and open the spreadsheet back up to viewing.

I still have to go through and double check spelling, enter existing POY points and some more stuff. So please have a bit of patience.

Most importantly...Good luck (mostly to me)!
Thanks for all your effort in this, gonna be a good sweat

Sorry, can't change the rules once we started taking money, and especially now that registration is closed. Everyone had an opportunity to see the payout structure before we started. Just think it'll be how sweet it'll be when you win!

This isn't really the case like a hockey or NFL league. Merson and Lamb both had virtually no points going into the final week of the WSOP and both ended up player of the year. No one is out of the running 'so quickly' in a pool like this.

Same. Almost sent picks in with Ukraine player as ROW. Good thing I checked my geography.

Im good with the top heavy payout. Would like to suggest maybe next year a $10 sidepot something like bracelets won per team could keep those who are falling way behind on the rail throughout.

GL all. Im looking forward to my 5 min interview!

Damn, I messed up! Did not think of Elky for Europe. Also thought that Deeb and Seiver would have been in the top 100. Balls.
Also I can't actually see my name/list in the results spreadsheet yet, (have checked it all through twice), I assume it'll be updated?

Over the next day or so, I'll be doing the following:

1. Returning money to folks that did not submit a line up.
2. Chasing down people that paid but did not complete the form.
3. Checking for anyone that submitted a line up but did pay.

Then I'll post the final total, and sweep the accounts.

For now, the prize pool can be considered approximately $2000.

I'm sure the spreadsheet is not finished yet.
Just for fun I counted up the most difficult pick: the 2 ROW.
We still have 3 invalid entries here (that's why I think the spreadsheet isn't finished yet): Katchelov, Lisandro and Danchev are not ROW.
Here are the most popular picks for ROW:
Juanda 47
Kravchenko 31
Puchkov 28
Krostitsyn 10
Lim 6
Kurganov 6
MonsterDong 6
Schemelev 5
Lunkin 4
Lykov 4
Zhukov 3
Obst 3
Zaichenko (the guy in the blue shirt) 2
Kihara 2
Troyanovsky 2
Hachem (Joe not Tony) 2
Rubie 2
Pham 1
Demidov 1
Solomon 1
Pateychuk 1

Negreanu explained that Juanda was only going to miss part of the WSOP.
Obst didn't play in the WSOP last year.
Karamalakis didn't play last year either.
Zaichenko down to just 8500 chips in first event.

Also, I should have selected talonchick on my team... would be fun to root for one of our own in the PokerCast forum.
Thanks! Only playing 5 events so not sure how high quality of a pick I would be....oh and 1/5 doesn't count.

I will always take a sweat though!

He didn't make my list this year, but I know he is playing a lot and is an exciting player for sure. He goes big or goes home!

@Apocalypse wow. I pm'd you my pick change yesterday about the same time as I posted in the thread about Ukraine.
