I see GPI has just switched their WSOP Leaderboard over to 2018. Good news for xander biscuits.

I just now discovered this contest. I picked a 9 person team using ODB's point system but did not pony up the $525 fee. Instead I posted it on reddit's r/poker. So far I am killing it with Volpe, Bonomo, Kenney, Vornicu, Kassela, Bricknell, Ivey, Darren Elias and Luneau. Easily outpacing everyone in both of ODB's league's so far. So sick that the one year my team does well I haven't even got a nickel riding on it. Still there is a long way to go.

It's not recognising things when there is no spelling error. Something to do with a copy and paste with a weird format I suspect.

To check what is included in the GPI leaderboard I started with the winner of event #19. Those points are not included. Then I noticed that he (Varnell) also cashed in event #7. Also not included! So the GPI stats are way behind time. It doesn't matter what date and time they updated - it only matters what events are included, and they're not telling us that.

Random spaces at the end of the string could be the problem. I have this problem with numbers/text but never with things that aren't just a string of numbers. If there is at least one letter in it, I never have an issue.

Would be nice if Daniel Negreanu could close this bracelet. Payoff his huge salary investment. LFG!

That went well

Making it easy to track my points posting nothing but bagels.

The only discrepancy in my team is Craig Chait, scored as 89.01 by xander / 198.92 by FerencL. This is seemingly due to an unconfirmed 109.91 for Colossus which appears in red font on GPI when you click through to Chait's GPI page, but is not included in the WSOP leaderboard table yet.

EDIT: Oh, actually there's also Ari Engel's score from Colossus (43.86 - again only on FerencL's list), which doesn't even appear on GPI as far as I can see, but is listed as a cash on hendonmob.

Added tournaments #20 and #22. I'll keep running this as a double check and also because the GPI leaderboard seems so out-of-date.

GPI Update Jun 12, 2018 15:00 UTC

Following Pokershares Tonkaaa is going to play at least 5 WSOP NLH events surrounding the main event. So, for 75p not that bad. could have been better ofcourse (Ivey... e.g.)

McKeehan still in the Milly Maker, as is Elio Fox. If he goes deeper, we will have a pretty boring POY race.

I checked my team (spreadsheet vs database). Two discrepancies and they're both wrong on the spreadsheet. Duhamel cashed in event #7 and for some reason the GPI leaderboard still doesn't include the results from event #7. The spreadsheet has points for the wrong David Baker. 214.38 is ODB Baker. However, just switching would still result in the incorrect amount because Bakes Baker cashed in event #7. Good to see my results holding up (so far).

I checked hussainsajwani and there are three discrepancies. Clements cashed in event #7. Volpe and Mizrachi cashed in event #23 which is still running and GPI leaderboard already has their points from that. I'm not adding points until the tournament is over so that explains those 2. So, looks OK except why isn't event #7 on the GPI leaderboard?

I think the same thing happened with Colossus (#7) before - takes ages to get points collated b/c of multiple, independent day 1 cashes I guess
