I would like to update some scores but the GPI scores don't seem to be correctly updated yet.

It looks promising from this link: http://www.globalpokerindex.com/ but when you click "See full ranking" it takes you to the 2017 scores.

Could someone else try it to check that it's definitely them and not me

I didn't think the GPI was the official partner anymore, so maybe that would explain their lack of prompt updates.

it's not the official partner but last year was a nightmare with the WSOP only giving out scores for the top 100 players and FerencL having to go through the events 1 by 1 to add the scores together.

GPI has been more complete and also reliable in the past couple of years which is why we decided to go with it.

If they don't get their act together I put a clause in the rules to let me use something else to score this thing

In 2017 the GPI WSOP Leaderboard and the Official WSOP POY did not match but the GPI went on to post their complete results. In may be that with only 1 tournament completed they just haven't got around to updating the totals yet.
If they don't we can always go back to adding them one tournament at a time.

I'm aware of this page, but it doesn't give overall totals only event by event coverage which is a pain in the ass.

Oh jeez, indeed... there will be some points to be scored. Hell, I have Bryn Kenney and Stephen Chidwick there, with Jason Koon seventhboking the event.

Of course, I recall doing well in this very event last year, only to go on a massive dry spell after that. Probably means I'm favoring people who only play the high rollers.

I see GPI still shows 2017 WSOP results. Yesterday I dusted off my programs/databases from last year in case they're needed again this year.

if they don't sort it out by then I'll have to go event by event. I've got an idea of how I can get it to work in excel but it will be a lot of grunt work.
