So I reached out to the GPI and TChan to do my due diligence on this thing. I was of the opinion that the One Drop shouldn't count given the information on their website and the wording of the rules set at the outset of this. The only place in which the points existed was on that leader board. On the event page for the one drop and on the player page for those who cashed in the one drop the points did not exist, nor should they exist by their own rules. The GPI leader board has a number of errors which FerencL has spotted (Event 7, tag teams, online and one drop). I have checked and am confident that the leader board that FerencL has posted is accurate and is the one we are going with.
I got no response from the GPI.
Here is the response from TChan which agrees with the decision (he was not made aware of my leanings before making his decision and didn't enter so is completely impartial):

Combining this with your statement in the original rules/signup thread, I believe the fairest decision would be to not include One Drop points since it did not meet the 32 player criterion.
