Koray Aldemir

..when you consider I had to pick them on March 18th

How I looked at things:

Negreanu, Bonomo, Chidwick are going to play a big schedule including all high buy ins and mixed games

The Mizrachis and Glantz will play a lot of 10k mixed and Michael might play some high buy in NL

Michael Gathy did really well 2 years ago but not last year so he was pretty cheap. Seems to play a lot of the lower buy in mixed games. Is a grinder and I assumed he would be a unique pick (but guess not)

Bryn Kenney and Koray Aldemir are my high buy in no limit guys. I thought I should get a couple of these because they were cheap and with the extra high buy in NL events this year I thought good value

Urbanovich is a bit of a wild card. He might play a lot, he might not. He might play high buy ins, he might grind low buy ins. He might stick to NL or he might play all the mixed games.

Thoughts on this would be appreciated Pascal since you've seemed to reach out to most people.
My thoughts:

Chidwick and Bonomo are discussed already

Negreanu is great value I guess. Always playing full schedule.

Robert Mizrachi has mentioned to me that he will be playing a full schedule. So great value imo.
Gathy is playing all events below 10k, maybe a few 10k's will be added, depend on results and feeling.

That's the good news I have for you

Michael Mizrachi have mentioned to me on twitter that he will not be in Vegas this summer. Only event he will likely play is 50k ppc and ME.
Bryn Kenney has mentioned that he will play very few events.
Dzmitry Urbanovich has mentioned that he will likely play less events than before

Matt Glantz; no info on him
Koray Aldemir; no info on him, but wouldn't he likely playing the high rollers only?

My thoughts on your team (other than the players who have already been discussed):

Dutch Boyd: No info
Conor Beresford: No direct info, but he was mentioned by live-reporters as someone to watch for this summer
Davidi Kitai: No info, but my feeling says he will not play that much. But that's just my gut feeling.
Nick Pupillo: No info
Sam Greenwood: Has mentioned that he will only play the ME
Greg Raymer: Is selling action on YouStake for quite a schedule, but hasn't sold out. I don't know if he will play no matter what...
Melanie Weisner: No info.

My team has only 7 players for 290 if I look at the 25k fantasy...
But in the 25k I see a few players who have said to not be playing a decent schedule this year. So I don't know what it really tells you.. I'm still winning guys

Well, dammit... I was curious about this, too. He tends to be play in the really big buy-in NLHE events, so I hoped maybe he would be good for a big point score in there. On the other hand, he had no cashes in Vegas a year ago, which made me think he doesn't play the WSOP very much.

I would hope that people like Bryn and Koray and other high roller types will play the following events:

Strong Possibility
Event 5 $100k NLHE
Event 65 $10k Main Event
Event 77 $50k NLHE

Outside Chance
Event 16 $10k NHLE HU
Event 74 $10k NLHE 6max
Event 78 $1M NLHE

And if Bryn wants to play the $25k PLO and the $50k PPC then that would be just fine and dandy

Their system throws out a lot of overpriced players because of team owner ego/really wanting to double down on themselves and also a lot of underpriced players when you get to the later rounds, but it's still nice to look at.

How many of y'all can beat 378?
If you were able to add Ivey, you'd be at 428.

A couple of great bargains imo: ETay (3) and Ari Engel (4)

I'm downright scared of your team. You have the three players well above minimum that I was closest to taking: Volpe, Chidwick & Bonomo. I had Adam Owen last year and we both have Mizrachi, Brunson & Ivey... so we very easily could have had nearly identical teams.

GL peeps!

Both Bryn Kenney and Koray Aldemir are playing the 10k Super Turbo Bounty

I'd take a little BK bink to kick off the series

I was also quite surprised about Ari Engel.
ETay has communicated that she will fly in and out Vegas during WSOP. Maybe that explains the cost..

It's all about the zero research line. Flick it in & hope for the best!

To be fair, BK was probably planning his time for the SHRB and event 2 is a one dayer.

If he wasn’t planning on playing many events he may well not been in Vegas tomorrow
05-31-2018 , 05:58 AM
Well Bryn Kenney busted in 10th, but more concerning is Paul Volpe in the final 3 of the event...

Still impressed by Dnegs in SHRB. It actually shows a lot for this summer.
But when will we see Ivey if he will play WSOP?
10k Omaha 8 ?

If he plays the 1500 Omaha 8 this afternoon then we know he's got the bracelet bets going on. If not, I presume he'll just play the 10k+ events

I was looking at Event #3 and was disappointed that I appear to have no sweats in it, but then I realised that I shouldn't.

All my guys are high buy in NL players or mixed players.

Not sure if that's fine or if that means my team has a massive leak

It's a weird one that you have no sweats at all.

What normally happens is all the high volume players enter the shootout, safe in the knowledge that if they win their table they've got a cash but also that they can jump in the PM mixed game if they bust on their first table.

It's a classic double dip scenario. Win your table, reg the PM event in the attempt to run up a stack by the time the 2nd round of the shootout starts.

I will take a spin on anyone that wants to share two-cents on my team! Thanks.

Scott Clements
Justin Bonomo
Robert Mizrachi
Paul Volpe
Jeff Lisandro
Stephen Chidwick
Mike Gorodinsky
Michael Mizrachi
Aaron Steury
Josh Arieh

Half of my team consists of people that no one else picked. What does everybody else know that I don't? You mean going on gut reaction and lucky guess isn't a solid strategy?

I'm either going to be way ahead or way, way behind.

Scary team. Volpe and Chidwick were especially tough for me to omit, but just couldn't find a place for them.

I like a lot of your picks, but would want player with a more proven record than Bicknell at that price.

Not very good imo. Koray will play very few, as will Bryn and Grinder. Urbanovich also not much, probably 0 10ks. (And I say that with having Urbanovich on one of my other fantasy teams.)
The rest of the 6 are good, but 4 out of 10 of the team is a large %.

Pretty good, other than Grinder.
Gordo also won't play very much unfortunately. He's been playing the 2k/4k cash game for example. Arieh is fine, but you could probably find someone with better ability/volume for a similar price.
