**2+2 WSOP FANTASY LEAGUE 2018 - RULES & SIGNUP**

CHOOSING YOUR TEAM

1. Here is the spreadsheet of player salaries

2. You must pick exactly 10 players for your team. You can pick players from the list or any other player at a cost of 75 points. You have a maximum of 1500 points to spend on your team.

3. Score will be based on your team's combined GPI points for WSOP Bracelet Events.

4. Please submit your team via this google form or you can private message me

5. The deadline for all payment and submission of your team is May 28th at 15:00 Pacific time. Any late team submissions will be rejected

MONEY

1. $20 entry (USD). You must be able to pay on PayPal or PokerStars to enter. Payment will be to me and I will give details of payment closer to the time. I do not want to have to track payments across two platforms across a number of months. You can enter a team as soon as you want and if you do then I’ll PM you when payment is open.

2. The deadline for all payment is May 28th at 15:00 Pacific time. Any late payments will very likely be rejected.

3. Payouts will be awarded as follows: The payout total will be all money collected minus any fees incurred from PayPal/PokerStars. There's no rake. We will be using the following payout structure:

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF

1. If you want to change your team prior to registration closing then private message me your changes.

2. One entry per person. Do not send multiple entries even if you have multiple twoplustwo accounts.

3. Only open events in Las Vegas will count towards your score. The reason I am using GPI points and not WSOP POY ones is because the WSOP POY are historically incomplete and only contain the top 100 players. In the unlikely event that the GPI doesn’t generate points this year and the WSOP does then I reserve the right to change points system.

4. Please note that I am from the UK and this might incur more PayPal fees than you’d otherwise expect.

5. I will do my best to spot instances of exceeded salaries and give you a chance to correct it but I do not guarantee that all errors will be spotted. I will try my best to give you an opportunity to amend your team. If you submit last minute then your window to amend your team might be very small or even non-existent.

6. If an exceeded salary is noticed after the teams have been revealed or you do not amend your team in time then I will amend your team myself. I will remove players until your total salary spent is 1425 or lower.

7. The player point values are 25% of their GPI WSOP 2017 points. Any player not on this list has a point value of 75.

8. Please check the player names on the salary spreadsheet carefully and use the exact name when submitting your team. A HendonMob link or other clarifying information will help to avoid an ambiguity and protect everyone from potential angle shooting if you are picking a player who is not on the list.

I intend to play and I have already submitted my team to Johnny Douglas to keep things on the level.

He can confirm my team once entries are closed in May.

I reserve the right to amend my team in extreme circumstances only. I will only change my team if a player I picked announces that he does not intend to go to the WSOP this year or something similar.

I've made this same disclaimer last year and did not change my team.

Couple of notes:

2015 was for no money and so had the fewest number of entries
2016 had 125 entries
2017 dipped to 84 entries because only PayPal was accepted for payment

Since we've both PokerStars and PayPal payments this year I hope that we can challenge for the most entries this year...

Confirmed I have Xander's picks, and confirming I'm not dead. It's weird he picked Phil Hellmuth 10 times, but I trust he knows what he is doing.

I may have not seen it reading through but salary cap doesn’t seem to be mentioned.

Does this imply the salary cap is $1425, or $1500?

No, it's effectively a 75-point penalty for people who exceed the cap.

YES. 121 points... not the bargain I was last year but I have to say that is pretty cool. I’m planning to be there for six weeks and play basically all the non-NL $1500s.

I get the feeling that this might be a smaller turn out than previous years but it shall be fun no matter what.

Payment details will open up a couple of weeks before the deadline. I just don't want to be tracking and holding payments over a longer period of time than I have to.

I would really like to see a graph of # of posts by year on 2p2. It seems to drop dramatically year over year.

Doesn't the rush of entries normally happen when the league is advertised outside the pokercast forum?
