really depends, especially since ive been playing like 3 different limits for a while, but ive never had more than 50k online for any extended amount of time, and never less than 25k for any long length of time either

If I was a real betting woman I'd put money on the fact that you will be every bit as successful in life as you are in poker.

That is quite a cool test program but I found myself in trouble in the usual way with these things. Because I know that most/all of the hands are designed to test or look for one thing I spend half my time trying to figure out what angle the software is looking at to then play the hand accordingly. For example, there was one hand were two players fold and amazing allen opens for $35. Calling cassie calls and tough tiffany 3-bets to $155. Hero is in the CO with AK. In real life I just fold here 9/10 but I wondered if this was a spot where the software was looking to see if you could recognize a squeeze play. Allen range is fairly wide (most pairs, good broadway) and he can make big folds, cassie has put dead money in and tough tiffany should be good enough to recognize this squeeze op with position. Accordingly, I 4b committing myself to the hand and got stacked by KK. It was the only hand I got raped in during the whole test and it was largely because I was trying to second guess the 'motive' of that particular hand test. I thought it was about recognizing a player on the squeeze when in fact it was testing your ability to just dump AK pre. Doh.

i think i got around 8k vpps in one day playing just 1/2 nl one of the first days 24tabling was allowed, so thats probably about 16k hands, and probably my biggest, but i dont really keep track of that

one hand in my home game before i played online, i had a straight flush vs quads and folded cause i didnt know i had a straight flush, and the board was double paired and i thought it was a great flush too. at that time we always shared our big hands mid-hand so everyone knew right away and i felt funny. hmmm, while im young amsterdam, when i get growed up probably somewhere in mainstream europe, but the problem is i havent been ANYWHERE outside of the country besides jamaica, so i really dont know. this will change soon, im planning on travelling at least a little next year. taking into account all my friends and family are in the US, i woudnt wanna live anywhere other than philly

studying finance but who cares, i dont like anything in school. i picked business because its practical and i dont hate it like i do sciences or whatever, but i have yet to find something i really really wanna do. i really wish i wanted to do something sweet like be a doctor, but i just dont have the desire or the drive

not really daily goals. in the summer with no school nor job, i try to get at least 3k vpps each day, the average day has been much more than that so far. in school its just play when you can, and not when you cant.

my interests are kinda just fun-related. with my friends i dont really lead, just do whatever they do, which is fine with me. sports, hangouts, random weird things, im kinda down for whatever. in the summer, weve kinda been doing alot of hottubbing at my one friends, followed by just hanging out at his house untillike 3am, which is fine with me.

yeah ive saved as much as i can, school and rent and spending money does take out a sizeable chunk though. the goal is early retirement

ive only shorted when i was too high or drunk to play full lol. i dont have the bad sentiments of shortstackers that most here do, i dont really feel like they are doing something immoral or ethically wrong simply because its not illegal by the site. i dont mind learning to full stack though, and have never seriously considered shorting. sometimes people equate it to live poker, where you could never get away with it, but the two are so different i dont think its a fair argument. that being said, im really happy with the MSNL thread about starting 50BB tables, ive started to only start 50BB tables myself, and i implore everyone to do the same, because shortstacking is something that we're better off without.


tupac had a bigger following because his personality was much more outrageous yet addicting. he was really kinda genuine i think, but he had a way of acting like a thug, yet making songs like "keep ya head up" that kept everyone on his side kinda. he was just more outspoken vivacious. and his music was better.

anti tilt = notplaying for like a couple hours. seriously it just always goes away for me. anti tilt during play is usually just a suckout or to run kinda good, but that can be disastrous to depend on so i dont really advise that one.

absolutely 1/2 can be more profitable. most players are gonna hit a wall somwhere, and for a large large percentage of players that wall is gonna be at 1/2 and theres nothing wrong with that, even though it may seem everyone is playing higher because of this forum. 2/4 is a huge hurdle and dont let 2/4 fool you, its very hard to get over.

1) leak would probably be trying to make bad players fold toomuch. strength is probably my ability to grind without going bat**** crazy

2) because 400nl is significantly harder and many other players hit a wall there as well. your winrates are both better than mine at both levels so dont worry too much, just move up like me!

4) i tried to and found it a hard adjustment about a month or two ago, but thats not to say i never will. in fact, if i manage to get elite this year, my plan is to play a lot less next year and try to get better rather than mindlessly grind, so 6max is more probable than not. it all depends on where the easiest money is; right now its full ring i think, thats not to say it always will be

5) mix it up a decent amount when im in position, but usually only against regs, because bad players usually arent paying attention. i dont mind calling with big pairs in position (ive been doing more and more of it) especially against players like wobbly who are pretty aggro and you can count on a c-bet almost all of the time. i also try to 3bet smaller pairs to account for this so that my 3bet percentage is about in line with a normal range of something like AQs+ JJ+
