What do you all think that the tighest VPIP you can play profitably at the Full Tilt and PokerStars NL($1) and NL($2) games at their current state. I am not asking about maximum profit, but tightest you could play theoretically over a huge number of hands.

Paging the_main, mlane, and BT2...

EDIT: I really doubt that 0% VP$IP is profitable.

who knows who cares

I assume one could play profitable at around 6 or 7 vpip if they were ssing...or maybe even fullstacking since there are enough tards to pay them off.

When I first started to 12 table a year ago, I was playing 9/8 profitably with a full stack.

Games were a bit different then though.

No need for a poll... only one person is really qualified to say.

INTREPID FOX, where are you?

6-7 if you're short stacking
01-10-2008 , 01:08 AM
8 fullstack at 100.

mabey 10@ 200 if your tricky?
01-10-2008 , 01:09 AM
its a more interesting question if you say highest. I think its upwards of 50 at nl100.

That is the number I picked, as well as the exact reason/logic behind the number

this is pretty damn close. I'm not sure you can be under 7 and win short, tbh.

mwh, I've never counted fpps. You can win with fpps this short, but I have shorted nl200 more than any of you guys probably and even 6-8 months ago I don't think you could win with a vpip of <7. I also have talked to someone with more than 150k hands shorting 1/2 and he was between 9-10.
01-10-2008 , 01:44 AM
Some table selection and vpip of 4-5 with full stacks can be profitable.
01-10-2008 , 01:46 AM
tripccc and futilewar n pumuckle i presume are all winning players. its a matter of how profitable.

Yeah, that is more interesting.

Some big baller should go play 50/x for at least 30k hands or so and then report back here with the results. gogogo.

If you feel this way, i think a prop bet could be arranged imo.

I sincerely doubt pumuckle is a winner in the 1/2 games in the day as they have been recently.

It would depend how many hands we are talking about, but I would probably be interested if its not a ton or doesn't have to be done very fast.

id put down 300 at even money that you couldnt do >45 over 5k hands, or 500$ at 10k hands.
01-10-2008 , 08:49 PM
No time constraints if its reasonable imo

And you win if you make more then 0$ ldo.
