Re: Renton pooh-bah post: 1/2 video

honestly these vids exceeded my expectations and, although that's not saying much, were better than most of the FR vids you find on the training sites.

first vid, 30:00 - donk opens from EP to 4x, second donk 3bets and you fold QQ. you said you'd shove AK/KK+. i think AK is a fold, thoughts? your equity against a calling range is comparable/worse with AK isn't it?

second vid, 6:10 - bennyxbinion leads the turn after you check back second pair. i don't agree with your assessment that you're "expected" to call the turn once you check back the flop. i think that on a board as wet and connected as Jc8c9c most players will expect you to be giving up more than potcontrolling when you check back the flop. even though you don't have fantastic equity on this board, i think the turn's still a call. also, possibly for future reference, you obviously didn't know this because you don't regularly play in these games but the dude's just an awful 50bb button clicker that doesn't know wtf he's doing postflop - he could honestly have anything in his preflop calling range.

get every codec: http://www.cccp-project.net/

or alternatively just get VLC since it's better than WMP in every way

VLC is simply the best, easy to use, simple and play almost everything.

I would shove AK in the QQ hand because I think when I hold AK its a lot more likely that he's 3-betting something ******ed. I think it has similar equity vs a range to QQ, but combo-wise its harder for him to have the huge hand's hes repping, and since he's unknown and donkish, i just think there's too much fold equity for AK to be a fold.

In the hand vs binion, I agree about not being expected to call. It's a board I'd give up on. I just felt like a player as tight and passive as he had been up to that point wouldn't really have many hands in that spot that I'd have good equity against.
