Re: optimal vpip/pfr for 100nl

At 100NL there are alot players more than capable to win on Big Blind per full ring or 5BB/100. And the comment about 100% at SD is absolutely 100% wrong. There is no way that guy makes real money. You can make a call on the river know for a FACT you will not win 100% of the time purely because of pot odds. ALL pros i know that play above 100NL aim for 5BB/100. Also i know for a fact most of them are in the 55% range. And the BB/100 takes a long time to firm up it will swing alot. As you see above.

Re: optimal vpip/pfr for 100nl

if you are playing 16 tables at once and getting 4.31 BB/100 you should move up. Also im sure if you played 4 or 6 tables your BB/100 would increase

yes, i agree, however once you make the leap to 400NL the dynamic changes, and I would highly doubt I'd be more than a 1-2BB/100 winner there. I prefer to relax and pound the 200NL and 100NL to the tune of 4+BB/100. As far as playing less than 16 tables it doesn't seem worth my time. I'd rather not play than only play 8 tables.

Re: optimal vpip/pfr for 100nl

disco i dont believe you play 16 tables. When I play 100NL i make just above 4 BB (Big Bets/100 hands) and my game is no where near ready to play 16 tables or any type of high stakes. I have a pile of friends who do make 5 BB (big bet not big blind) per 100 hands.(at this level not high stakes like your quoting) I almost feel for the poor guy who made the original post. Does 16/12 work absolutely. Only difference between that and what I said is like 1 squeeze per 10 orbits. I would bet $500 you do not make over 4BB/100 hands playing 16 tables at once.

lol @ postcount being an indicator of skill

lol @ 122k hand sample size proving anything

lol @ thinking that because you are a good winner at 1/2 you can dissertate with authority on what is optimal

you don't seem to understand that there is no magical difference between 1/2 and 2/4, if he can do that at 2/4 he can do as well or better at 1/2

you actually have this backwards......If i was beating higher stakes games for 4+BB/100 i would agree that I most likely could not be 16 tabling unless i was god. But 16 tabling the 100 and 200nl is mindlessly easy. Trust me dood this is very possible....most ppl 24 table on stars (granted they dont win at 4+BB/100)

umm even though he's acting like a douche 16 tabling 100nl or 200nl for 3-5ptbbs is nowhere near the impossibility you're making it out to be, you're going to lose your $500 here

there are hundreds of regs who can 16 table without a problem, and of these probably the top 10% or so can win at that winrate. And im talking about 100nl and 200nl regs.
