Im currently playing about a 21/16 at 100nl..ive tried to open up my game over the last 10k hands and have done nowhere near as well as when i played a 15/10. Any thoughts. Whats working for you guys? Where do you see the optimal play being for 100nl full ring.
Thanks

it doesn't matter... just play better than everyone else and u'll win... play worse than everyone else and you lose

yea i figured i was way too loose. 15/10 worked for me pretty well over about 150ish k hands but that was even prob too loose.

thnx

Raise a little more instead of open/over limping.

Im assuming Full Ring;

VPIP should be between 16 to 18 (depending on style)
PFR - between 8 and 11 (depending on style)

This i am very confident about.

There are alot of ranges ppl can make money I just feel strongly this is were you want to be for max EV. %$win at showdown should be between 50% and 55%. Too high is not good either. Also BB/100 hand target should be 5 (assuming BB is big bet not big blind) this number will swing alot at those stakes.

TBH, I find it a lot of fun to play 16/14 one month and then play 10/8 the next. Basically, any HUD stats that people have on me are close to useless.

I see this over and over in the forums and the truth is that it most certainly matters.

However, there are varying strategies that can win to varying degrees and they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
