If I look at my graphs from any time period, FTP one goes steadily south-east, but PS one from any same period goes steadily north-east and looks a lot like ones many of you big swinging dicks post for month end. Unfortunately I play more at FTP because of RB and free DC subsription, so net net it is a small negative, but unless FTP responds positively to my request to switch on the doomswitch for me, I might start to play more at Stars.

I play the same game at both sites, how can the results be a mirror image?

AND I CAN PROVE THE DOOMSWITCH. SINCE DAY ONE HEM IS SHOWING THE EV GRAPH WAY ABOVE THE ACTUAL. IN FACT, DIFFERENCE IS NOW 173% IE MULTIPLY THE "FAIR", NEUTRAL EV LOSS BY A FACTOR OF 2.73. THIS IS SAME AS IF I WAS A HIGH STAKES PLAYER AND SAID EV LOSS IS $470K BUT, HEY WAIT, YOUR ACTUAL LOSS IS ALMOST $1.3 MILLION.

HOW CAN ONE PERSON BE THIS UNLUCKY...

variance ldo

i've had -25bi downswings at 3/6 full ring while winning at poker due to my play in other games

so in theory its possible to have a -25bi ds at one site and a 25 bi up in another yeah?

It's because a lot of the people who are bitching about downswings are actually good players, so it's almost impossible to have a terrible month at midstakes if you're good, even with the worst luck possible.

Also, all the bads bitching about downswings (which is because they tilt and are bad, not because they get bad luck) usually don't post graphs.

It's good because in effect he is treating minraise like it was a "normal" raise, forcing minraiser to face standard bet sizes, right?
