Lol i don't know anything about El Tacuba but apart from his sizing pre, hand is played well, 3bet is fine imo.

Haha, yes I am. In my defense, I really wanted to know what you had and since fish just busted and table was about to break I figured you might be three betting me with some AQ-AJ/KQ-KJ as well and turn these into bluffs. I was like: "If he shows up with AK here, imma cry..." So well, there you go...

He definitely was a winner over a big sample tracked on PTR. Marginal, but a winner no less. I am almost 100% on this...

IIRC he was a winner at 100 eur and 100PL and a slight loser over some 4MM hands at 100 USD. combined winnings were > 0

I cant tell who played it worse
07-22-2012 , 02:45 PM
The aces played it worse. I'll be back online in a week, hope you guys haven't missed me too much.

hand 1 is fine by tacuba, and his opponent obviously played it terribly. hand 2 is bad by tacuba, and again his opponent played it terribly. dude's kind of an enigma to me because he seems like a huge clown, but often has monster stacks while seemingly having a very small winrate

Last edited by vinivici9586; 07-22-2012 at 02:56 PM. Reason: actually i guess that makes perfect sense. he should play tournaments

Okay got inspired by that hand. Now playing on Stars. Looking for a whole bunch of tables with Stone in them. Hopefully this strategy still a good one.

Yep they both played it terribly IMO.

Whats wrong with posting a hand like that I just wanted ppls opinions?!

It's relatively easy to have big stacks when you are playing long sessions and not change table. Obviously, when you are switching tables every 2 orbits, it's kind of hard to have more than 200bbs.

it's much easier than you think when you don't have godseat on a fish on every table u're playing

Fairly easy to do when you just choose a hand with any equity and shove all in.

The guy spews like crazy. It doesn't matter if he's got 500 bbs on a table if he's in for 550 bbs.

Ur contradicting urself, how can u spew with equity? Tacuba much better than everyone gives him credit, I predict him crushing higher stakes in 8 months. (no joke/level).

He's like a more aggro, less experienced, hot headed Helen Gamble on Cocaine.

spew with equity: you can have a naked flush draw/2nd pair, know you're ****canned against your opponents continuing range, and 4bet shove AI when your c/r gets 3bet
07-23-2012 , 04:22 PM
yo natis youve overtaken me on VPP count i think, gonna be a big end of year grind

this is underrated

people could show a set face up and sometimes youd still have to shove the pair+fd
07-23-2012 , 04:41 PM
doesn't really make sense. if you "have" to do it, then it's not spew.
