Obv USD to CAD is at its lowest its been in like 8 months today lol, I lost 1500 if I would have done a cashout this morning compared to now

Reporting people violating TOS here is not in the spirit of why snitches are thought of as scum. I'd say this would be more like reporting someone driving drunk through the neighborhood and hitting pedestrians.

why dont u just open a USD account with CIBC? then do smaller xfers between your accounts as you need the funds.

idk what you mean vini, stars only processes cashouts in canadian dollars. I want to leave the country in a couple weeks and don't want to leave any money in my canadian account so easiest thing to do if can't find someone to xfer directly with is wire money to canadian bank account, then convert the cad to usd and wire that to us account

oh, i didnt know they only do cashouts in CAD. dont you make the money back when you send it back to the states. i.e. all that matters is the CAD xchange rate between cashout and conversion, not the first cashout.

not typically, but I don't really think of this as "snitching" these people are hurting the games and my income, why shouldn't I do what I can to stop it? if it makes the games better, i think it's fine

just email stars support and ask nicely to process cashout in usd for you. Let them know the whole story. I mean I was in you shoes when I moved to the UK. With a little effort you can persuade them for sure GL

Yeah I knew who you were lol didn't think you knew who I was and I was on massive tilt from donkament+massive nit live bumhunters making every excuse to not play shorthanded even after we got rake free they're all ****ing pathetic. Although one guy did come and play me a bit of HU. Live HU is always fun. You play at Borgata regularly? I thought 10/25nl live was actually semi-tough but even the regs are for the most part horrendous. Like I think there was maybe one person at the 10/25nl full table I got to who a 1/2nl online game wouldn't run around. It was hilarious.

its amazing how many regs are even scummier than before now that ptr is gone. several times im sitting on an FR table and some reg comes and sits me hu, posts his bb and 3bets, then steals on his sb and then automatically leaves (or just posts sb and steals then leaves). this has happened to me like ~5 times in the past 2 days.

I think naming and shaming people will encourage a certain % of them to change their approach slightly. Some players will never change though.

Honestly though, just keep reporting these people also. I've sent 2 or 3 emails to stars this week about the subject and naming people doing really dumb **** at the table like sitting out while fish do, sitting 12 empty tables and just grimming regs while refusing to start games with anyone but brain dead fish. If people are going to do what is collectively thought of as "scummy" moves in public (such as when playing poker online) then they should also be subjected to public naming and shaming.
