I know. I was just joking of course.

I think I'll have a read of the thread though as it's sounds interesting...

I had a conversation one time with Rusty Nails about him how it is not even right for 2p2 to promote that guy. The type of students he gets have not a clue how to judge if he is a good coach or not, they just don't know any better, and he is atrocious. He sweat me once and the things he was telling me were laughable, literally laughable, one time I had to mute my mic because I literrally laughed.

With 2p2 promoting this guy and a few other terrible coaches they are basically screwing over a ton of people with the in incorrect material he teaches them. Yea it is good for us and the game, but it's just wrong and cruel.
I feel vehemently about this issue and agree it is a disgrace.

Hey guys. Anyone knows what's the best market offer in terms of 30 inch monitors. I found this one: http://www.amazon.com/UltraSharp-U30...5739104&sr=8-2

is it what I should get?
01-05-2012 , 01:04 AM
holy crap i never knew 30inch monitors were that expensive, wow.

can you fit 24tables on there with good enough res to read hud stats and whatnot?
01-05-2012 , 01:08 AM
it doesnt go much cheaper, unless you search for refurbished ones.

if you are on a budget, you could also get an older 30" model off ebay. the picture quality stayed pretty much the same over the years. > search for '3007wfp', '3008wfp', '305t' and 'LP3065'

my personal favourite is the samsung 305T. the dell monitors have more vibrant colours, but the samsung is somehow easier to look at for hours in terms of eye-strain.

it's a work-tool and imo it will pay for itself since you have more fun grinding and a better view over your tables

no, 12 tables is pretty much the maximum if you still want to be able to read something... i use it for 9 tables in default size.

I've bought 5 of them over the past few years (model changes slightly every year or so.) I like them.

u playing 26/22 over 600 hands, will still get a lot of folds preflop. if u play 26/22 over 600k hands... might be a different story

+1 on nvg thread

people should really do their own background research before finding a coach... i mean the obvious question being if its so easy to make money from poker why are they coaching instead of playing

internet pokers? just like with galfond or anyone else who made videos i am certain their income from videos is WAY <<<<<<<<<< than income from poker. these guys seem to have a genuine interest in giving back to the community. they also write a ton of free articles and blogs and a vid subscription to those sites is so cheap.

im more talking about the guys that are super sketch and hardly beat 50nl and giving crap advice to micro players that dont know any better. i think thats why vini got so pissed after seeing tri say u dont need to win at poker to be able to coach ppl
LOL

if theres ever a counterexample to "those who cant do teach" its NOT poker
