The ****ty part about all of this is that I received some very quality coaching yesterday and reflected it in this post here:

but I feel that post will be overlooked by all this beef/drama/etc. posted in Disco's thread. At any rate I have a very opinionated outlook on this whole thing so I will give my 2 cents.
@OldSchool, I am a bit confused as to why you called out Disco? Is it because he posted something in your coaching thread that was distasteful? If so, then challenging HU is the wrong way to go about it. Don't get me wrong, I know Jeremy personally and I can't speak on his results or whatsoever, but he did coach me a long time and I did learn. That has nothing to do with the present though. I just think it could have been handled a bit differently.
@Disco, I think outwardly declining HU is fine because it seems you are on the defensive. You handled it ALOT better than I could at any point in time because whenever somebody spoke out about my results as a coach, I would get highly defensive and fast.
I know both guys and they are both swell. I think being the Robin Hood of coaches has no place in poker though, as you basically are trying to facilitate how somebody else spends their money. These coaches PAY for coach listings on 2p2, and FOR FREE you can go in there and demand results and rip them apart all you like. While I find this to be fundamentally fair in a free market coaching economy, what benefit does this serve you? Is it really spreading the good word about how this guy plays poker awful, is it to cut their winnings from this game, is it for bad publicity? What is it, because I genuinely would like an answer.
Don't say "Its inherently wrong to charge people for something they promise and do not give", because thats entirely subjective. Just because he would never be a good coach in your eyes does not mean the same for somebody else. You can never evaluate a coach's entire impact on a community because I promise you there are people who were satisfied with what they were charged for. Otherwise, 2p2 would have lawsuits on their hands all the time (right?)
Live and let live is all I say.
And I will say Disco is a damned fine dude in the time I have come to know him as a peer and a coach, and I can say the same for Jeremy. The difference between me and some of you is I don't care if what they are doing is inherently wrong or ripping people off, because it isn't my business. Once it becomes my business I would be concerned. I also can speak for the majority since I have been coached by both, and my professional opinion is that neither of them lie or deceit you.
