I stayed and played there once. I remember I bought a 12-pack @ a gas station and tried to take it up to the room. The elevator security guy made me take it back to my car. Then I talked my gf into the mission of placing it in her suitcase and bringing it up past the guy, bc f' them for making me pay $8 or w/e per beer. She nervously went through w it, and I'm all proud of her and we celebrate on the cheap b4 hitting tables.

I'm going this Friday for my first live session in awhile down at the Borgatta. If I'm beating 25nl & 50nl for better than 5bb/100....should I play 1/2 or 2/5 (my live bankroll is 2.5k)? I have yet to cashout from BCP, I want to be able to play .5/1 & 1/2 first. My BCP roll is at 1.3k. In Feb I will get my first RB bump that will put me over 1.6k so I will be ready to start donating to the regs at .5/1 around 15th on next month.

Should I grind 25nl & 50nl till I can make the jump to 1/2? I have been leaning toward the 2/5 live. I will give a trip report.

they changed things & sell there, but I think it's a 3rd party who runs it

When I move up, I don't play all 9 tables at the new level. I usually start by adding 3 of the 9 and increase as the roll grows. I use 20 BI which is not nitty but also not agro. I also don't have an ego that if I lose 2 bi's I will drop back down.

turning stone has a liquor license but beers are like $3-5 iirc. While not rediculous, its a little annoying. Also, last time i played at TS game quality was really bad. Like 8 regulars from the area on a first name basis with eachother and me in the middle not getting their inside jokes. This was during one of their tournament series too which means the room was booming.

Yeah away from tourney series 2/5 rarely gets up and it's always all regs. Last tourney series I went we were only able to get 5/10 up Saturday night although when it got up it was super soft several fish donating massively.
