Therein lies the problem, when real GDP is goes negative for any amount of time, it's game over with this kind of federal debt. If interest rates were to normalize to something other than ZIRP, it would be game over. The only hope, the only way out, is absurd growth rates, which is not in the cards. Game over man. Only question is when.

I thought I was being offered 4:1 and was saying I'd take GOP nominee over Obama for literally any amount if I was offered 4:1.

If this happens nothing else will really matter. Unless of course you like +10% unemployment. Currently there as many people working full time in this country as there were when I finished serving this country (1984).

Obama choose popularity over change. No changer in history was popular at his time. He continued the Bush policies. Some even say he is worst than Bush. With all that being said, i agree with you its still better than having a mormon or any other candidates other than Ron Paul who has no chance.

i think people stereotype/have a misconception about mormons. Theres definitly sects of them that are cultish but the majority are just like everyone else in this country

Yea, if I bothered to vote no chance in hell I would ever vote for a mormon

except subscribing to a cult and its tenets? one of my best friends grew up mormon they are some weird mofo's, and believe in a truly ridiculous story. I remember seeing that south park ep on mormons and I thought they were making stuff up to be funny, then I found out it was all true pretty much (magic underwear, getting messages from god in a magic top hat, garden of eden was in Missouri, etc). need we get into the wife hoarding and masculine domination of mormon society?
