I noticed this to be sginificant for Carbon. I just figured HEM wasn't accurate in calculating rake or BBJ had something to do with it. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they calculate it lower to pay us less just as I wouldn't be surprised if it were a HEM issue.

depends if they use the merge cashier or their own. if the merge cashier, your safe, if their own, its a tossup based on how they handle it. I had an account on bluffroom, which went under, and was able to get all my funds transferred to my bcp sn.

Merge is a central cashier in most cases.

I had a small balance on bluffroom when it went under. Was asked to either give a SN on a different merge skin to xfer to, or to create an account on the skin of my choice to receive the xfer if I did not already have a second account.

I believe the same thing happened with feltstars.

Now, does this mean they could withstand a larger skin going under or that they have player funds segregated? Definitely not, but it is a big positive for anyone playing on one of the smaller skins currently using the merge cashier.

So apparently BCP decided to pull out of being a part of Poker Maximus III (saw this via FB status just now). And have seen some threads about BCP leaving the Merge network possibly.

So I haven't been paying much attention to how things are going on Merge lately, and what the best course of action is for players with money on there, that want to continue playing. Is it a bad move to keep money on BCP while there is talk of it moving networks, since Merge controls the cashier? Should we seriously consider moving to a site like ACR, given the state Merge might be in?

I'm just not really in the know lately. And want a few thoughts on what my best course of action should be with my money that's currently on BCP. Keep in mind, I need/want to continue playing, so obviously take the initial risk that comes with that. But would like to still minimize that as much as possible.

i would not recommend moving from BCP to ACR at this time

BCP rep made it clear in the BCP thread in Internet poker that they are moving over to WPN which is where ACR is at.

merge has been intentionally not processing bcp withdrawals since about mid september. this is because bcp has been planning a network switch, so instead of processing withdrawals in the meantime (~12 weeks) they just said FU. all withdrawal requests will be processed by the new network.

well thats not fair

Wow, talk about alienating your player base. i mean, guys who may have stayed on Merge and merely changed skins are just going to say F it.

This really isn't public or easily accessed information. I think it wouldn't matter for grinders and the fish won't find out.

So who's gonna make the nvg thread to inform the fish?

why, then, did bcp rep not post this in the BCP thread in the zoo rather than have people constantly berate him and merge for "disrespecting" their customers and being all-round douches? Seems like if what you're saying is true, the easy play would be to spill the beans and let merge take the flack and bad publicity they deserve rather than creating bad publicity for themselves and coming across as unprofessional and untrustworthy in the eyes of many.

well i don't know if it's merge or bcp or both, but either way they are being withheld and it sucks.

that's a very quick 180, you said it was merge in your OP, didn't give the impression you were unsure at all.
