I am done for the night, I'm filled with so much hate in my heart... needed to let it out. Never been down 9 buyins on sets over a 10K hand period before

The quantity of FR tables running lately has been flat out terrible. The games that do run have been pretty dam good imo. Only reason I haven't jumped on the cake bandwagon yet is because ****ty software tilts the **** out of me. I love the new merge software and have heard nothing but bad things about cake's software.

FTP was glorious pre BF for me for one reason and one reason only. RUSH!!!!!! Even if there werent any fish at the table a few quick folds solved that problem. Plus huge RB and bonuses. Nothing better than 4 tabling and getting in 1k hands/hour.

Boom! All it took was 90% of the mid-stakes regs to leave and suddenly I can cash out in a reasonable amount of time.

It's completely standard to get 60%+ rakeback now and FTP was like 35-40 after everything iirc.

True. For me it was just way easier to grind 100k+ hands a month playing rush as opposed to now where if I get 6 tables of 100NL, I am happy. Plus I was having way more success in those games, then in todays, big shocker there.

wait what? I mean it was no 2006 or anything but 2/4 on FTP was not even close to dead. I guess compared to lock/merge they were dead but let's face it merge and lock are ****ing shady. They ever prove they segregate player funds? Why do people think there won't be another BF?

That's me, I doubt you're serious but if you are shoot me a pm.

With what money and where I dont know, but the fact is these are the guys that need to be targeted.
My friends who know I play professionally still ask these kinds of things haha

The other issue is even if a fish realizes he can play online, a good percentage of them will fail to successfully deposit due to bank and credit card policies/issues, and once their initial deposit options don't go through they become wary and won't pursue other options like WU

dude there were like 6 tables of regular 2/4 running at any regular period. I guess the point I'm making is we still couldn't get in 12 tables of 2/4 in 2011. And 1 or 2 3/6 tables at any given time typically. 5/10 ran a few more but full ring was dead... which is what i'm referring to here.

That was prior to rush. Rush honestly saved the bumhunting fest that was occurring at 2/4+ which actually kinda saved the games. I've said for along time that rush is the best way to combat bumhunting.... everyone gets a shot and the fish is non-the-wiser.

As far as merge, lock anything post-bf being shady, ohhhh hell yeah they are shady. When I had bankwires coming from the CEO of BCP into my account, I remember thinking "this is the shiftiest thing ever". I think if they were taken down our money would be gone, but this is the equivalent of playing on UB after the cheating scandal. We all know the house of cards will crumble if a gust comes by, but sadly this is our only option left. Just make sure you leave the minimum necessary on merge or lock as you can always buy more from the marketplace pretty easily.

I mean yeah if you want to play 2/4+ you pretty much have to play 6m. I never had a problem getting enough 2/4-5/10 FTP games back in the day (although I agree with you rush made it way better) and now I can do pretty much the same as long as I'm playing at peak time mixing lock/merge. I also don't disagree with your comments about bcp/lock but my only point was I'd gladly take FTP as it was (and actually reputable not stealing our money) over the current situation even though the games are way softer now. And I never played on UB other than like 5 years ago. I'd like to think Merge/Lock are a bit less shady than UB. UB had like 5 different scandals before we found out they were broke. Anyone who had money on UB honestly deserved what they got I literally feel no sympathy for anyone who lost money to UB other than the clueless fish who just fed into the Hellmuth advertising and didn't know about their shady past.

lol, well, the 16th is the day that all the insiders can sell their stock, and the stocks expected to absolutely tank once goldman sachs and others sell off their close to 2 billion shares.

Selling at this point seems insane.... surely you bought for the long term and not for a quick profit. If you bought for a quick profit that was unrealistically optimistic based on the research and evidence out there that the market analysts were spouting. If you bought for the long term and have now been scared then thats even dumber...

my original intention was to make a quick profit, but also possibly keep it for the longterm. After it started going down I was like ok, no problem, I'll just keep it for the longterm. Then it just kept going down and down and down. Now all the insiders get to sell it off on Thursday and it's supposed to go even further down after that. I just felt like getting out while I still had my shirt. Tired of effing watching it every day like a hawk too. altho now i'll prob watch it even closer to see all the gains i'll be missing out on.

I honestly think this is a terrible time to sell. I mean how much more could you really lose? The stock finally seemed to settle.
