all steaks come in different sizes, even a 28oz porterhouse would probably have 4oz of bone.

whats the o/u on people in this thread who will be going on for steak in the next week?

Also to rara and anyone else that frequents Borgata - They have an 18oz filet at Old Homestead that only costs $50 and I thought it was spectacular, definitely superior to the ribeye I had at Cut (not wagyu because i'm a nit)

I will have to give it a try in a couple of weeks. 18 oz is a big cut of meat.

It's alright Raw.

Any waygu or kobe beef found in america is 100% a scam anyways.

Can read the Forbes article, but there has never been any real kobe beef in America, (kobe beef is produced in one location where none of the slaughter houses have ever been USDA approved to import) and Waygu refers to all breeds of Japanese cattle many of which are western and european. Also, no beef can be imported from Japan even in luggage since 2010.

Spoiler:

So imagine you are an orange farmer in Kobe and understandably, no one wants to pay a premium for your juice. You can try harder, do your job better, and build a positive name for your product, or you can find a place where they have already spent generations perfecting their craft and building a reputation for their brand and simply steal it. As long as your own country’s laws don’t care, this is a quick and easy path to ripping off consumers. “Domestic Kobe beef” is the U.S. equivalent of the Kobe farmer bottling and selling “domestic Florida Orange juice” to con consumers into paying a premium for a product unrelated to its namesake reputation.

Steakhouse was fun and like disco said the waitress was acting like WWIII was happening or something which is what made it really funny. Also, I totally stole SA's rhyme and kinda repackaged it a little.

Want to weigh in on affiliate argument. If you are playing on a site that goes busto, I can't understand how it is the affiliates obligation at all. All the Affiliate does is provide different site options for you to choose and usually facilitates RB. The fact that the guy was playing on a skin via VPN illegally, even though this had nothing to do with site going under, has to be prepared to lose everything they put online with that site unless the affiliate specifically says that it is OK to play on that site and that they have a special deal that allows US players. If that were the case and then the site took the money due to the fact that the player was using VPN, then I feel that affiliate is responsible. Other than that it would be like saying every affiliate owed guys who lost FTP funds.

So much meat fail itt. :-)

I personally enjoy all varieties of steak... They are all good but slightly different. My favorite is probably the cut I didn't have last, but my favorites in a vacuum are ribeye and porterhouse. People will say filet is for chicks, and real steak lovers like the chew. But it's whatever you're in the mood for... Just don't get it cooked more than medium... Otherwise, you might as well get the chicken breast. :-P

Ruth Chris serves their steak on a platter of sizzing butter, so some people think it's more flavorful (because let's face it... Butter makes most things taste better), but the purists think that's blasphemous. For me... It's all about variety, so eating that once in a while is still pretty good.

I prefer stockyards to Allen bros, but I've only had Allen bros once.

Interesting article on the wagyu. Not sure what I've been eating, but the fake Kobe tougher cuts can be pretty good. The one time I had wagyu ribeye was find of gross... A fatty version of a fatty cut is too much fat.... Even for me.

Some of thos photoshops we're pretty funny. I liked the one with the pile of toothpaste.
