I have 1000+ hours at $69/hr (including recent dry spell) so I don't think it's too optimistic.

The old nits are annoying but they're basically empty seats and make for lower winrate lower variance games. 20ptbb is probably not possible in really nitty line-ups but when a whale or two sit down it goes way up so it sort of evens out.

but last 3.5 months I'm not up much. just tons of suckouts, awful all-in ev, getting coolered a lot, standard run-bad

still, I feel good about what my true winrate is if I'm making $30/hr during 350+ hours of running badly

u have the skillset to beat 10/20 (assume u dont have the roll/stomach for variance/etc)

Also I hate variance. A bad run at $10/20 is like -$30K and I don't really want to deal with that right now either

what are one's best options if they want to play live 5/10-10/20, and higher? curious about the state of msnl+ live and where you'd have to move to play it...5/10 barely runs more often than 10/20 (twice a week) in detroit

5/10 runs at foxwoods almost daily from my experience, but it can be a pretty tough game. 10/20 is more sporadic but goes randomly, and always during tournament series.

unsure ur financial situation tuma but pls to be sure you have adequate bankroll (even for 5/10 especially if uncapped).

New super douchey possible reg at 100NL Merge. So I am sitting at a table with a 67/27 to my right who is like 250bb's deep and just won a pot from this guy animal5050(the douche). The guy goes on for like 15 mins about how this guy is a fish, how he is so terrible and doesn't even belong at the table. He begins critiquing every play and how little he knows about poker and is commenting on hands when the guy is playing and telling other opponents what to do aka he hasn't got anything just call him. Then proceeds to announce the fishes PTR stats. A couple regs were telling the guy to shut up and he just kept going. Super inappropriate and -EV, it boggles my mind how stupid some guys are.

If you're intent on taking suicide shots at least just play 2/5 or something win 6 buy-ins then shot-take with that. Then if you lose 3 buy-ins you can just go back to 2/5 instead of being busto.
