Ima be pissed if the agcc faces no repercussions for all of this crap we've been finding out over the past few months.

Meh, bots have been around for years, and it was only a matter of time before a winning 100bb bot would come around. The problem is that once one working bot has been made it can be replicated infinitely. It really is like fighting the borg, you are fighting a collective with a pooled database which is ever improving and adjusting. GG online pokers.

hey guys, one of my students needs to swap 270$ Pokerstars for 270$ Paypal. He will pay a small vig. He is DonMelchor on the forums. PM me please

captcha?

you assume the pokersites are eager to get rid of the bots, and are capable of long term thinking.
10-20-2011 , 01:39 PM
captcha has its own problems
10-20-2011 , 01:42 PM
Ok, I give up. In all seriousness though, I think the "scaling" of bots is a problem worse than the existence of bots.

If you look at ongame for example, its pretty obvious that they are.

The owner of the network owns BWIN, which makes far more money from sportsbetting and casino than poker. If you've watched an interview with him, he pretty much states they hate grinders. (see: the essence system)

No matter how much the bots rake, they are hurting the major sportsbooks bottom lines, and they are who have the most pull here. Something will be done imo.
10-20-2011 , 02:24 PM
Talk is cheap. Let us see what they actually do. Some bots have been around since 2010. I have to say bot-building seems like an interesting challenge though. I'd rather try that than get back into grinding.

I withdrew the last of my bankrolls a few weeks back and have gone self-employed. As I read about poker and ponder the changes within the last year, I grow increasingly grateful that I bailed out. I can imagine things will only get worse in the coming months and years until we reach a point where playing poker is no different to playing online casinos.

fish rep AA by limp rr utg. it is what they do. oh and some regs. think about it, if you feel he can have KJ/A2 then he must also have a bajillion other hands in his range.
