I would think anywhere from 20-50 BIs is standard for most of the regs who don't have poker as their only source of income but I could be off base here.

I agree. I work and my threshold is about 50BIs and I feel nitty with that.

I'm pretty sure Mpeth is a retired lawyer though, so I think poker is his main income source ATM.

well the lower end of that spectrum would be shot taking of course so you'd be moving down after a bad session, but like I said I could be off base and I don't play as many tables as most of you guys

Taking shots based on BR requirements is ******ed anyway. You can have half a million dollars in your roll, but if you got it by grinding millions of hands at < 1ptBB/100 in 200NL, you would still be burning money by moving up.
