Lets set the record straight everyone. 99% of regs 3bet light and some even 4 and 5bet light too. Letting the time bank go on and on and ****ing on does absolutly NOTHING. If you 3bet me light than I 4bet, if your going to fold do you have to let the god damn timebank go all the way down to 1sec then you fold? Cmon! Do you think that Im thinking....oh he has a tough descion here....gtfo.

Its almost getting to the point now where its affecting my hourly and im not even kidding! If you have a tough spot obviously take all the time you need....but cmon guys...you aint fooling nobody and your wasting everyones time. Its preflop for christ sake. Make your move or fold....please.

i like to hollywood sometimes when i get cold 4bet, because that's a situation where i could conceivably be planning to 3b/5b for value against the first villain but 3b/fold against the cold 4bettor, figuring his range for 4betting is a lot stronger. same goes for when i cold 4bet and the original raiser jams. could be 4bet/calling against the 3bettor but 4bet/folding against the original raiser.

Hurt...obviously in multiway pots when you have a hand you are thinking about stacking off with, take all the time you need. Those spots can be quite tough. If you really have to think, think. If you know your going to fold....fold the god damn hand!!!!

Agree with Mikess2001, this really hacks me off.

When I 4-bet or get 4-bet I nearly always know before I 4-bet or made my 3-bet how I am going to respond. Within reason, I pretty much turbo fold if I had already decided to do so. Also, other regs hollywooding just doesn't wash.

Lets just review what is likely to happen when a reg does this:

Folds to me in CO and I raise 3.5bb, folds to BB who 3-bets to 12bb. I have 98s and bluff 4-bet to 28bb. Villain tanks for 40 seconds and folds (most likely with 56s).

To regs that do this do you:

a) Think I open notes and type, "dear god, this guy so nearly called/shoved vs my light 4bet. DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN, you only JUST got away with it"
b) Open up notes at all?
c) Even remember this reg doing this
d) Get hacked off that they wasted a load of time for zero reason, zero gain and zero meta?

Hollywooding does suck, but there are plenty of regs who 4bet and then tank-fold, and I'm pretty sure some of them are actually folding strong hands (i.e. they aren't thinking ahead, and they don't know what they're going to do with their AQs when the villain 5bet jams).

Im going to have to disagree. When ive 5bet shipped I get snapped by AQ like everytime. Regs just do not 4bet/fold AQ....ever. They are hollywooding 100%. I cant remember the last time I 5bet jammed someone and they tanked, tanked, tanked,....and then CALLED. Never. Like 1 time in 200K+ hands.

Well said sir...well said. At least im not the only one. I would also guess that alot of regs are doing it out of spite....they know they cant call with 56s and got outplayed so they are just going to be a douche and timebank down to 1 second.

I never think regs are "thinking about a hard decision" when they time bank in obvious 3b/4b light spots. I just think, oh he doesn't want me to write a note that he snap folded to a 4b cuz then he's going to get exploited or some ****.

The hand itself doesn't matter. I'm just saying I think there are quite a few regs who 4bet with hand X because "I should 4bet here" and are then legitimately unsure of what to do when they get 5bet shoved on. Not everyone, even some winners, think correctly in those spots. Don't underestimate the dummy factor.

If the guy snap folds or takes 10 seconds im going to think the same thing...he didnt have ****.
