Meh, NLfool's HHs helped me get thru 80k breakeven stretch because I'd see his 250bb deep allin with nuts vs nut low bluff (or even call) and think 'man these game aren't dead after all'.

So it's a bit of inspiration for anyone struggling.

Oh, and CAB. That hand is just plain sick. Like what you read to your kids on halloween.

is BTN a reg or just some random? just want to know if this was sicknasty ownage or "i have a pair with the highest kicker so i call"
12-13-2010 , 04:56 AM
Villain is a reg. We have played a fair amount together starting tables at $1/2 and $2/4 but no recent history. I have him 18/13/3 for 9 handed.

I think he is spewy and bad but he always owns me like this. I thought I rep a T pretty well and he can't really play any value hands like this except maybe 44. Really made me feel owned when he calls so light
12-13-2010 , 05:23 AM
Seems like you don't have the image to get away with something like this against him so you probably shouldn't be doing it for a while.
Would have been awesome if you had played a K this way.
12-13-2010 , 05:28 AM
lol what a sick river raise by him.

i guess he had to be raise/calling to induce since he basically minraised you.

owned imo.

I hit a royal but did not get fully paid off. So I must debate internally whether I should post it.

May open up a thread with poll to determine, or perhaps establish a fakebook page for teh hand in question.

Had a really unlucky river that put a 4-card straight on board. It was upsetting. Still almost got paid off, and I did make 60ish BBs in the hand....however I do think i I shoved turn I would have been called. Oh well. I was tilting when I initially called a raise with my opening hand anyway, and 97% of the time would fold it based on position.

For those trying to imagine it...the royal was in diamonds. I do not use a four color deck so it was red on my screen. I do not want to reveal my holdings to build anticipation, but BOTH CARDS WERE USED to make it.

It was my third SF of the day. So I guess I was running good. However, I did not hit quads all weekend (that I can recall).

Oh, and I also like Pie. If you like Pie please let me know. There will be a facebook page set up for that as well.

Cliffs: I like Pie.

Don't worry RE, just quit my session when villain hit his 2 outer on the river in a 425bb pot. As per usual I was just about to call it a day anyway when ft does that to me. Profit for the day now stands at 2 cheese burgers :-)
12-13-2010 , 07:36 PM
that's > 0 cheeseburgers! Also, what happens when you owe cheeseburgers?
12-13-2010 , 08:15 PM

the hands/entry you get will decrease as your number of entries played increases. Playing 4 entries I would suspect most regs get 900-1300 hands/hr
