after my first 20 BI downer at RUSH, I am starting to believe this. Although I am sure it a doomswitch for buying a fk'ed up Black Card bonus.

Better question is which will result in a higher WR 16 tabling regular tables or 4 tabling RUSH?

regular tables

reg tables for sure

Interesting. I would think it would be easier to concentrate and make better players when you only have 4 RUSH tables and can get in and out fast if you need to make more in depth decisions.
Is it regular tables because we assume regular tables are fishier in general?

I somehow managed to beat NL25 for like 2.5ptbb, NL50 for around 4ptbb, and I am likely moving down soon because I can't beat NL100 rush.

Here's how my life looks every day

I don't even run below EV, I actually ran hot in the beginning by sucking out with KK vs AA like 150 BBs deep.

I don't even run like loose and play hands that bad players can't play, I'm a complete nit and I still lose. I'm even losing at a fast WR of 1ptbb/100.

Just wanted to let you all know, I'm on NL100 rush tables anywhere from 6PM EST - midnight on most weekdays, and play any time on weekends. So if you need extra money, just pull up one rush table and look for me.

Is your SN public?

@xplore:

btw, I really do believe reg tables are softer. The reason I play Rush is that I find it so much easier to play 4 Rush tables than 16 regular tables.

I forgot the classic 2+2 mantra. Level first then ask questions.

Hi guys! I'm damn ringer! Now your turns

I agree with wildbob, reg tables seem softer than rush. 100nl rush seems to have the most variance in it too. If the cards fall your way its so easy to rack up over 6-10 BI over the course of a day but if they dont its also way too easy to drop over 5 BI in a session. I find it very frustrating some days because you feel your doing everything right but somehow seem to run into the top end of everyones range.
Also I dont know if im the only superstitious poker player out there but i swear some tables just drain and drain and drain. You can have one table on 350, two others on steady profit and still be BE for the day because one mf just keeps getting stacked. Iv started quitting and rejoining now... is that just ott?
10-24-2010 , 02:56 PM
i keep hear everyone say that 100nl rush have the most variance. why is that? why not 50nl or 200nl etc...? any logical explanations/reasons? (it's my first post itt. pls do not answer w/ a level)

lol, its cause they are delusional.

not many 50nl regs reads this forum, not many 200nl regs posts itt (or they're all 4ptbb+ winners, so no variance for them), imho
