So is there anything more automatic than coldcalling 3b/calling 3b oop and auto flopping sets?
10-16-2010 , 11:31 PM
only happens with 99 and JJ, IME

Lethal Tiger, always 1 tabling hermes, always seems to already have 4 figures when i sit down. Does the guy ever have a losing day? The other day i saw him floating around with a stack of 3.2k... wtf!! How long or how hot do you need to play to win 16 BI's on one table...

Just because he's that deep doesn't mean he's profiting..

I had three 1k stacks @ 200nl and one $200 stack and was breakeven for the day yesterday.

He is also terrible imo.

Obviously from screens the game looks and feels the same, sounds and all. It seems the best strategy without HUD is to tread carefully in 3b pots, b/c you just have zero idea what someones calling range / flop continuation range / etc is and it's just an annoyance when you don't realize you're playing a 11/9 nit who doesn't fold any PP's to 3b PF so when the flop comes 5 7 J rain and you have teh KK and get c/r you're sorta just forced to call, and call, and maybe call again.

Other than that, my only prob with the app itself is the annoyance of the bet slider. It only has min/pot/max and it sucks balls b/c you can accidentally hit the max after trying to target a bet size other than ****ing pot and then see you have 5 seconds to inch down the slider to a decent bet size and either end up checking or betting pot.

Pretty legit app tho, It was fun I will admit and I know fish will just love the **** out of it.
i can't wait

so there is no way to type in the bet amount?

also, what do people think about playing on an ipad via teamviewer? is this feasible?

You can hit a + or - sign to increment / decrement amounts, ipad via team = ask Jim, he does it all the time

tbh its less than aipf stuff and more the endless fail

1) board runs out as badly as possible and you someone donks pot into you on river
2) gogogadget set flopping
3) getting floated when you have air relentlessly, giving up river, and they have 2nd pair or worse
4) getting floated when you have TP relentlessly and them catching up
5) catching on, you go for a turn c/r with hands as bad as TPNK except they just check behind turn about 1000% when u do, or villains bet 1/3 pot and make it super duper obvious they're folding to a raise anyway
6) noticing that when you have air/weak, they never do 1/3 pot on turn when checked to and instead go 75%

heh yeah, its a big part of why I started mixing in regular tables, need to get some HU/SH to get over the nittiness of rush, that and well regular tables are like 5x softer
10-18-2010 , 06:34 PM
thats why i have to play 4 6m tables with 4 fr tables, otherwise I go insane

playing fr rush is like sexing when you're way too drunk and can't get off, I use my 6m tables for that stubborn release

how much different is your 6max game from your FR game. Are others a lot more aggressive?
10-18-2010 , 09:06 PM
i think my win rate is about the same for 1/2 FR and 1/2 6max. When I play 6max, I don't think I make any adjustments from how I would play a FR table after the EPs have folded.

but lets be honest no way you call without the 5s
Honestly, me having the 5s didn't even come to mind at all.

There was just something about the hand that made me feel you had AK w a spade.

I actually quite like your line but I was in te zone that day :-)

Are there supposed to be more adjustments than this? I dont play any 6 max at all..
10-18-2010 , 10:44 PM

I think it plays wayyyy different compared to when the first 3 pos. fold in FR

I am also a big proponent of playing 6-max to improve your FR game/keep you sharp
