Serious question... what compelled you to play these two streets the way you did?
11-29-2010 , 04:57 PM
action at rush right now is quite goot
11-29-2010 , 05:01 PM
Feel like I'm being levelled but I've sent you a PM anyway.

Only full stack I've lost today was trying to make Ringer fold KK. What a station.

Check out the stats and analysis threads here and micros and look for the thoughts of mpethybridge.

I think his thoughts are that to get higher than 2/PTbb 100 win rate you need to be losing 60/PTBB and below. This is in standard ring would be interested in knowing what winners are getting in rush over a significant sample.

I was running at 78 have tried loosening up and after that tightening up and have now gone over a hundred for this month, there is some run bad in there as well but I think that "working" on this instead of a lot of the quickfolding I was doing has harmed my game a lot.

Doubled my month's profit today. Booking it before Howard gets wind.

Thanks dave, I keep meaning to get in touch with mpethy about his database analysis option but im going to wait until the new year before I stump up the cash. -25 is obviously below 60 so it isnt disastrous but id like to get it a lot closer to zero obviously. Over my last 50k hands im running at 3ptbb/100 all exclusively at 100 rush. Keep changing things every session though, sometimes i run 12/9 and then the next session i look at my stats and see i ran 17/13 - def need a little more consistency as im sure theres a ton of spewage in the 17/13 sessions. Overall 14/10 seems to be my natural comfort zone.

And if msxxpokxer reads this forum i simply cannot believe how much value you miss in such amazingly obvious value spots. Annoying nit

aren't you passing up on obvious value as well by trying to educate bad players?

Um... I realize there are a lot of nits in FR who don't cold 4bet without the nuts, but considering there are 3 combos of KK, 1 combo of AA out there and 6 available combos of AK (of which he only needs 1 in his range to make a call +ev), folding seems a little nitty.
