If he has worse Ax I get stacks in obv, when he pots turn I'm sure he has like nothing or Ax and i'm ahead so often why raise to get him off a huge % of his air/junk?? Riv I'm raising big to get value, I don't regret it, i snapped it incredibly fast and was just thinking it's great he played it so perfectly bluffy etc

What is the point of raising his turn PSB honestly? Nothing

He won like 30bbs off of me with top set vs middle set. That made my day.
So a couple weeks ago I defend 55 against an early position minraise. Flop is A53 and I whiff on my checkraise. I now put his range as mostly {AA; trash} and decide to just check/call the turn to avoid blowing out his trash and valuetowning myself against AA. A flush hits on the river and I decide to just check-call. He checks behind and shows AA.

Cliffs: lost about 4bb with middle set against top set

I think you are underestimating the times he doesn't raise

pot + pot leaves like 60 behind, and you probably aren't potting both streets

I want to play HU for rolls, but only if you are not as good as me. Please pm me if you are interested. TY.

Lost 5BB last night to a set. I open to 5X UTG with AKs and stationy BB is only caller.

Flop comes out mono and it checks down and he flips over flopped set.

easy game.

things that offically confuse me... a 7/5 with a 67% fold to c-bet.

how can you find 67% of that range that wants to fold on any given flop?
10-29-2010 , 12:43 PM
He only plays pps and AQ+. So on a Jxx board, he has to fold. :-)

Has being able to buyin deeper at rush been brought up before?

I'd bloody love to start rush sessions deep.

"do I have a set" -> yes -> call
-> no -> fold

"do I have overpair?" -> yes -> call
-> no -> fold

dude but you could of been doing that sick tarp with the flopped flush where you check 3 streets and then just insta jam over a super thin value bet by the guy with the set, i think he played it safe and smart

This.

I only ever seem to make money in rush when I'm uber deep ;/

I just jizzed over my desk thinking about 250bb 400nl rush poker
10-30-2010 , 06:53 PM
I hate playing deep at rush, its so massively different than playing deep on a reg table, you just don't build dynamics its just randomly 250bb deep for a hand with a random position, then back to 100bb effective the next

Reading you guys posting..."Omg I don't wanna raise with middle set cus he might have a top set" is so f**king tilting.
