I somehow managed to beat NL25 for like 2.5ptbb, NL50 for around 4ptbb, and I am likely moving down soon because I can't beat NL100 rush.
Here's how my life looks every day
Just wanted to let you all know, I'm on NL100 rush tables anywhere from 6PM EST - midnight on most weekdays, and play any time on weekends. So if you need extra money, just pull up one rush table and look for me.
100 rush is fairly nitty in and of itself, but it seems that you need to hand read better since you are not playing very loose. Also, I would set a stop loss because you've had some very large losing sessions and you won't have those if you use a stop loss (2 bi or so is what I use). If you used a stop loss you would have saved about 1800 dollars. If you aren't playing well, you shouldn't be playing and for me I play worse when I am down money. Something to think about, perhaps. I would also look at your winrate by position, which would have to shed light on this problem.

HAND READING LOL WHO IS THIS GUY, I JUST FOLD NON-NUT HANDS AND THAT'S ALL THE HAND READING I NEED!
no but in all seriousness, I don't tilt, so stop loss is ******ed. I'm pretty decent at hand reading I'd like to think so I'm not sure how you can say that's where my flaw is.
I posted those giraffes and stats b/c I'm running like absolute ****, non-EV coolers are wicked and a 15 BI down swong coupled with just ******** BE months are what caused me to post it.
Thanks for the serious reply tho, good day to you sir!

To put it simply - everybody tilts. You're just not good enough to recognize it yet when you are (sorry, but this is the truth).
Thanks, Skelm. We are all human (except for the bots) and probably all tilt unless you have a tremendous grasp of yourself and your emotions. How are you not tilting after losing a few BI's? I know I almost always am because there's a good chance I made some bad plays in the process, so I stop playing.
If you aren't winning at 100 it's either because you can't hand read in real time, you can't fold, don't think about ranges and their consequences, or you tilt. I don't see any other way about it since people are rather transparent with their holdings. I suppose you could also be running like crap but that will rarely last for large samples.
I'm not trying to rag on you. I've been doing this for a few years and I honestly believe a stop loss is a very good thing for my game, but perhaps it's not for everyone. I just realized these aren't sessions for you but your daily results, so I'm not sure what your actual sessions were like.
Oh I also looked at your VPIP and in days where your VPIP is 14 or higher you are down 3310 dollars which means when your VPIP is less than 14 you are up 1753 dollars. That's just something I noticed when your biggest losing days were some of your loosest. That may just be coincidence, I suppose.

I guess I should have clarified, I don't tilt in a manner that affects my game in any significant way. I understand what tilt is, and all the mental game a/b/c etc, I've read Elements of Poker and thought about it quite a bit.
Good enough? Get off your high horse, if I'm tilting and it's causing me to blindly 4b every time I get 3b, I'm likely aware of what I'm doing and of where it's rooted.

FWIW, Skelm is one of the most respected, informative posters on here and seems like an all-around solid guy. I'm pretty sure you took his comment a little too personally. He also crushes and was trying to help you, so get off your effin' high horse.

I'm sure he is, I didn't make any comments regarding his skill level or anything. Was a discussion on tilt and tilt alone. Lol I have no high horse, i'm worse than a rakeback pro.

I dont know who you are and I dont really care - but your responses unless they are a brilliant level are comical. I promise you sir that you do not always play your a game. If you are not always playing your a game -why is that? Many call it a form of tilt.
You have reald elements of poker. CONGRATS. I have read a book on gymanstics yet I still cant do a back handspring. You see where I'm going here??
