Not only does winning a donkament make you an amazing poker player, knowing that the other guy has AK 100% of the time makes you a ****ing God. So, gomuckyaself is better ldo

It might have been mentioned before, but I think this should point the attention to how much of an edge a half-decent full ring cash player has over the field in the first few levels of a tourney with a decent structure.

If you take a look at the HS MTT forum, you'll see plenty of examples of very questionable "deep-stack" play (like, 60+ BB). In particular, flat calling preflop raises with big pairs seems to be all the rage.
