10 handed

Villain (SB): (1100)
Hero (MP): (2700)

Hero is in MP with 52

Preflop: UTG raises to 25, 3 folds, Hero calls 25, 3 folds, SB calls 25, 1 fold

Flop (80): 575
SB bets 60, UTG folds, Hero calls 60

Turn (200): A
SB bets 120, Hero raises to 250, SB raises to 1020 (all-in), hero?

This hand occurred about 2 hours after my last post, which is the same game but diff villain.

I was very active earlier, winning and losing big pots, but have slowed down considerably. I don't know if Villain has noticed this, as he is very fishy and amateur, playing really loose and weird; he even seemed uncomfortable with understanding hand values, as he slowrolled unintentionally a few times and built his stack by getting very lucky in a big pot.

When he shoved over my turn raise instantly, he didnt know he had so much behind because his chip stack was a mess. Hes black, with his girlfriend, and probably drunk.

I like the fact that "he's black" is a supposed read. Plus, it seems like you play with a lot of people who have gf's and lag fish. BTW - are these 5/5 games at the MGM?

Anyways, the way you describe your opponent, it seems like your asking for posters to say call. It's pretty obvious that you have to stack off to a loose, aggressive drunk. Plus, in live games - especially the ones your describing - don't get to much into that 'what's my image" type leveling. TBH, unless your playing tighter than a virgin or going ninja crazy, these fish, especially if they are drunk, aren't really paying attention to it nor are they trying to level you that much.

I play at the Taj Mahal in AC. There arent many big/interesting hands usually, opponents like this one are very typical.

I snap called

Were your racial/stereotype reads spot on, or did you lose this hand?

the thing i like about 25s is that when I flop trips, I have a good kicker, so I'm never in tough spots, plus I can make flushes that are hard to beat

Yeah, they're very deceptive hands.

He had A7.

If the right regulars are in the room, 5/5 can start on any night. There have also been 5/10 games recently (no joke).

Im James, all the regulars know me.

Daidz - that makes a lot of sense. I've only been to the Taj once, but the two games I sat in on were fantastic.
