100NL: Call down ev. quads? 100NL: Call down ev. quads?

Do I have a call here with a bigger stack (how big?)?

I thought he had a 7 when he did bet the flop, but of course he could have flush draw, the last A or Air (betting in position). I did call because of the potodds but I am not sure I had if my stack was doublesize.

First you fold KJ on a KK99x board and then post this and have to ask that question? Of course it's a stupid question. I'd go broke here for 100bbs and not feel bad at all about it.

Also, if you're not going to fold (which you shouldn't), c/c the river is like the dumbest thing you could possibly do.

You choo-choo nit bastards need your own forum.

Maybe a Mod can delete the thread?

If you had bet and raised at every opportunity preflop and on the flop, I wouldn't think twice about stacking off 500bbs deep on this turn.

Sodom, seriously, SS hate aside, focusing on the river decision is terrrrrrible.

It went on to be a no-brainer, because of my stack size. I simply have to call. But if my stack was bigger, I am sure it had been different. My opponent might in that case have bet turn and then it might have come a massive bet on the river. I’m sure I have to fold in that case.

I think it’s right here to put the focus on the flop. He overbet the flop and I think that implicate that he want two things. He is in position and want it to look like he does not have a strong hand, and he want to protect the hand against the flush draw. Then when I called and the 7 come, well...then he will of naturally check the turn (because of my small stack) and hope I have an ace; then the money will go in at the river anyway.

Wow.

Am I still hungover or were you actually contemplating folding the second nuts?

A no-brainer because of your stack size?

Surely it's a no-brainer no matter what your stack size?

There are a few scnearios in which you could fold the second nuts - this is not one of them.

where is SABR42 and his "YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG" pics?

If you had 40bbs instead of 20bb you would be sitting out about to rat hole away from the table so the discussion is really a mute point.

wtf. you're so weird sodom. you have no issues at all limp reraising or limp calling shoves with 99+. yet with 2nd nut POST FLOP hands you are willing to fold. that makes zero sense.

maybe i should just limp in position against you and watch you fold, instead of trying to win AK against your random PP.
